Why would Jurgen Klopp decides to exits Anfield at the end of the season? This is one of the top questions that have continue to ring in my head, it's not as if the team performance is not stable, they're having one of the top performance this season. Liverpool is an elite team, they don't take any chances because everyone expects the best from them in all round performance. Xabi Alonso is a better person than yesterday, during his prime, he grabbed major titles with the club's he featured.
I'm not a Liverpool fan but from a personal perspective I see Klopp decision to leave at the end of this season as certainly for a valid reason. Jurgen Klopp has coached Liverpool for a long time and has given them everything, especially trophies, and what makes more sense is that Klopp is tired of managing the Liverpool club. Being tired might mean that Klopp also has his own saturation point, so don't be surprised when this decision takes us by surprise. I agree with Klopp that Liverpool needs to develop again with a new coach through an introduction process, a new atmosphere, a new strategy and Klopp thinks his era at Liverpool is enough. In my opinion Klopp departure ended with great respect, because whether Liverpool wins the EPL trophy this season or not will still make Jurgen Klopp name placed as the best coach of all time.
Talking about klopp and he had been deciding to leave from the club by himself. It's not arguably. Just put some respects to the his decision caused by we knew how long he had been on liverpool. He had been staying there for almost 1 decade. It's normal to see sometimes even a good manager was just a human.
they need to take care of himself and his family. yet some names as his replacements have been appearing. The strongest candidate to replace him will be xabi alonso. I see that some names mentoined along him but im beliving in myself xabi will be the best for liverpool.
Zerbi has been alsi linked to the reds but he has praised the work that has been done by xabi on leverkusen. So, he praised him a lot on his interview.
With Xabi Alonso considered the early front-runner for Liverpool when Jurgen Klopp leaves in the summer, fellow candidate Roberto De Zerbi has praised his work.
https://www.thisisanfield.com/2024/02/xabi-alonso-hailed-by-another-liverpool-manager-candidate-an-extraordinary-job/I think xabi is the right guy for that job. Im discussing the chance of him to join in the squad. Let's wait for the further announcement that will come at the end of season. Im sure FSG has his own criteria to pick the potential manager for the club. Im only hoping he will be considering xabi alonso.
Even though he was still lack of experience, but it's good enough to take him as a gamble for the club. I don't even see a potential candidate other than him.
