Thanks for the tips mate! find it really helpful

You're welcome! Don't stop from there. Empower and equip yourselves with knowledge, its more than enough to make your stay in this forum worthwhile. Just read read read read and understand everything. You will have fun and be overwhelmed of the new information that you can discover and learn about the technology.

This post is really informative. I am not a newbie but I found something new and helpful in this post. Thank you.

Thanks and you're welcome! It's my pleasure and honor to help out people who needs it. I'll be posting more useful information in the near future. I was just caught up lately with some real projects. Can't spend much more time in this forum but I'll be checking in from time to time.

Thank you for this post. For a newbies like myself, the link you provided with work opportunities in exchange for bitcoin I expect will be particularly helpful. It is comforting to know there is a way to put our foot in the door even though some of us (I am aware that there must be lurkers etc. here) do not have much tangible experience with cryptocurrencies yet.

You're welcome but you need to put it into action. Knowledge, information and theories in your head that is not put into action is good as nothing. Find time to experiment with all of those information that you've learned online and test it out yourself. Don't be afraid to take the first step to success. Don't let fear and insecurities rule over you when it comes to crypto space. No guts to glory in here. Goodluck!

A rare specimen nowadays, people, learn from him!!! This is the best attitude one can have towards the forum, for there is a lot of free knowledge in here, as well as many people willing to help others. The ones in here just to earn will be stuck into a rank forever; the ones with a real interest in the forum itself, willing to contribute instead of earning some bucks, those ones, will rank with no effort at all, for they are enjoying the mere path they walk.

Thanks mate! You have my respect for the genuine support that you've shown since from the start of my post. Let's empower the newbies and everyone who wants to be more successful in crypto space. More power to you mate!

I'm really not expecting for this post to get merits. I'm more of a reader than a poster taking advantage of free knowledge. I don't really care about merits and ranks as of this moment. I'm taking one step at a time. Ranking up for me is just for bragging rights in the future. I don't need to participate in any bounties or signature campaigns, I don't have time for those given my hectic schedule. I might not be able to post for a week or a month due to some projects in real life.

You can get merits as long as you'll not expect to get one. All you have to do is genuinely contribute to the forum without expecting any merits in return.

Your posts are pretty good and you preach some good things that a lot of people do not follow and wonder why they do not have any merits. But you need to work a little more on your formatting as its still very difficult to read. Break it into more paragraphs maybe?

Thanks for the compliment. Very much appreciated. With regards to the formatting, I'm still trying to learn from it to be more readable and easy on the eyes of the readers.

Wow.. good information. You a newbie and you have merit points, nice

This is what I love the most about your post. I know that most of us newbies really wanted to earn merits and rank up for us to be part of an awesome signature campaign that pays well. I admire the sincerity that you've shown in your post mate. I still consider myself as a newbie, so I'm very much moved by this and hoping to have the same outlook and mindset that you currently have right now. Keep up the good work mate! More power and Have a good one!

Thanks. That is really what a forum is. This is not a place to make a living. Forums are made for us to gain knowledge and exchange ideas we've learned that others know nothing about.

Just a side note :

Not ALL newbies to this forum is new to Crypto currencies and Bitcoin. Some have been lurking in the shadows and gaining knowledge before they joined or some have been in the scene, but they have been active on other platforms.

You are right. I agree with your words mate. I already have knowledge about the technology before I registered in this forum thanks to google and other forums.

So just keep in mind that not all newbies have to follow the same strategy, when they join this forum.  Wink

I'm making this post for a genuine purpose of helping out newcomers to crypto space. I don't force them to actually follow those what I've written. It's really up to them to take into action what I've suggested in my own opinion that would help them out.

I have seen excellent posts coming from some newbie accounts and these might have been sock puppet accounts or people who have just stumbled onto this site for the first time.

Agreed, most newbie accounts are from people who are new to the forum, but there are some exceptions to the norm. So just keep in mind that not all newbies have to follow the same strategy, when they join this forum.  Wink

As you gain so much knowledge with the use of this forum, always remember to pay it forward as well to newbies that will come into the forum by sharing your 2 cents of everything that you've learned. It's not the rank or merits that really matters to earn bitcoin and profit from this forum, but the real gem or wealth is the free knowledge that we can obtain by reading and patiently putting into action what we've learned one step at a time. Knowledge is power so we should take advantage and be hungry to learn new things and innovations that this forum can offer.

That's what I see when I clicked on profile, same as what you posted but when I actually click on the post that I made the format is different. So what I did is adjust the sentences trying to cut it short per line. Hope its okay now and pleasant to the eyes of the readers. Thank you very much for the screenshot you posted mate!

Finally!!! Yeah, much better this way!!
I hope many read this, the last phrase makes a necessary statement of how the forum works. Recently, I've divided the forum (in my mind) into two types of users: "Forever Juniors, or Forever members", those that are not willing to learn but to earn, and that don't care about the forum, don't make any contribution and just complain about the merit system. They are the majority, I'm afraid.
And, in the second hand, newbies willing to build a name in here, to learn, to spread the knowledge, to make some research. They are few. So, yes, I truly concur with your thoughts. The forum is a place where you can learn a lot, this is free and made by the people with effort. So its necessary to have some respect to that, and it is more and more difficult to see this kind of respect every single day.
So thanks, mate. Keep doing.

You're welcome and thanks as well mate! As of the moment I'm more into reading in here than posting. I'll spare some time to posts valuable information in the near future for what I've learned browsing the net about the technology. I just really hope that newbies will think outside the box, this forum is not merely for bounties or signature campaigns, this is built for us to learn and share ideas without any cost at all.

WOW, you are amazing me , even as a old member in this forum , I still can not get so nice summary . Hopes you can keep up and help more and more people in here . Good job !

Thanks mate! Don't put limitations on what you can do. Take extra time and effort in your posts and I'm sure that you can do it as well.

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback mate! I really appreciate it. I've deleted the spaces in between lines. Hope this would be more easy on the eyes of the readers now. Cheers! Wink Have a good one mate!

Umm... it is still messy. It is how I see it:

Maybe it is a problem with my browser, but I don't think so. Seems something related to the paragraph style you've chosen. As you can see, the last word is kind of "floating" around. Maybe is better if you just justified everything to the left...

Well said, mate. I've taken a look at your posting activity, and congrats!
Just one issue: the edition of the text has some problems, it gets really difficult to read, because of the jumps between lines. But the ideas you've explained are really good, so maybe by adjusting the edition and making it easier to read, you will ease the understanding of your readers.

I'm glad to give your very first merit. The first of many, I'm sure.

Day 2 onwards
This is the moment that we've all been waiting for and the reason why we are here in this forum.
We need to learn how this technology works and how to earn them.
You can check this link for all of the terminologies about this technology and its meaning.
                https://blockchainhub.net/blockchain-glossary/
      How to earn bitcoin
                 a. You can mine your own bitcoins
Mininng bitcoin involves a lot of investments and consumes so much power. You can't mine bitcoin with your laptop and desktop.
There are some things that you need to consider before mining.
                                      aa. Hashrate
Hash Rate is the speed at which a computer is completing an operation in the Bitcoin code.
A higher hash rate is better when mining as it increases your opportunity of finding the next block and receiving the reward.
                                      ab. Electricity
Mining bitcoins costs a lot of power and electric power has different costs depending on where you live,
for instance, the U.S. the average people pay is roughly 12 cents per kilowatt-hour.
In other areas around the world, electricity is cheaper particularly in regions like China, and India.
                                      ac. Device Cost
Depending on performance and if the device is new or used, mining rigs will cost you around US$500 to $2,000.
                                      ad. Time and Maintenance
Since you want more profit and early ROI, your mining rigs should be running 24/7
and there will be some malfunctions of the device and the fans for cooling system.
You need to check it every now and then to avoid further damage of your rig.
Read more details in here. https://news.bitcoin.com/things-consider-starting-bitcoin-mining-operation/
                 b. You can work for bitcoins or any other crypto
You can check in here for some jobs and work to be done depending on your skillset.
As a newbie you can't participate yet in signature campaigns but there are some tasks that even newbies in this forum can do.
You can browse for certain tasks and skills that people are looking for in exchange for bitcoin payment in here
                                  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0.
                 c. Offer or sell something for bitcoins or any other crypto
If you want to sell something in exchange to crypto you can auction an item in here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=73.0.
You need to becareful when dealing with strangers. There are lots of scammers when it comes to online transactions
so you better check if the person you are dealing with is trusted or a high rank member or even just pay for an escrow for safer transactions.
                 d. Gambling and casino games
I personally won't recommed this but there are some newbies who are so lucky when it comes to gambling.
Others even earned their very first coin gambling with few bucks.
You can check the gambling section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0 for provably fair online casinos.
Gambling is very addictive so better not involve yourself if you have addiction problems.
                 e. Use various bitcoin faucets
Almost every crypto enthusiasts should try out faucets. It wouldn't make you rich but if you do have some spare time
you can earn few cents from those faucets and climb your way up over time. You check in here the list of legitimate faucets that actually pays.
                                  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/10-sure-and-legit-bitcoin-faucets-that-pay-2123954
                 f. Boost your trading skills
For me trading is one of the best ways to earn bitcoin. You must be fully equipped with knowledge and skill
before you engage yourself with trading in crypto. You can potentially lose everything with just a single blunder.
You can check these links before you start trading.
