Can I see a picture of the MS-63 coin you sold?

I deleted the pictures but you can request it from Otoh, the winner of the auction.

Sorry I didn't save the pic and I'm not in the country where the coin is to take another atm.

1.9 including shipping and escrow.

Thanks for the offer and I will be happy to use escrow.

For reference - here is my previous auction for a MS-63 that sold for 2BTC with 0.3 of that went to charity.

I took the picture off but the coin was free of dirt/fingerprint but still got a lower grade than this coin.

The MS-63 coin you auctioned off look a little better than this one. I can offer 1.8 for this one  Smiley

Thanks for the offer and yes I would have to agree that the MS-63 looks better in the front of the coin than this one. Although the hologram side of this coin looks to be in excellent condition, I can't say the same for the front side. I have a few copies of the MS-64 so this is just an extra one in my collection, thus the cheap starting price. Happy bidding !  Cool

I will buy it for 1.5BTC right now. You pay for shipping (in the US). You have 10 minutes to respond or my offer is withdrawn.

I got an offer for 1.6BTC

You should take that offer in my opinion.

nice starting price

lol how did the back get so dirty but the front stayed so clean?

ANACS didn't do a very good job cleaning it lol

I was thinking of getting it professionally clean and resend to ANACS but figure I would try to offer this at a really great price for a quick sale.

Does the front of the coin have all that dirt and fingerprints all over the coin itself?  If so, how did that coin make MS64?

I think I want my coins to goto that ANACS grader in the future.   Grin

"Dirt" plays a 20% factor in grading.

Surface preservation is about 40%, Strike is 20%, Luster is 20% and eye appeal is 20%.

Is this an auction?

Sure does sound like an auction. fixed.

Cleanliness is not a big determination of grade.  Strike, luster, and wear are and eye appeal.  I would say the 'eye appeal' is probably what got it marked down from 66/65
