The recovery took much time than expected. Cause I was doing little mistake while signing message with my btc address. At last I have done it.

Thanks to bitcointalk account recovery team.

I'm worried now. It's been 11 days and haven't got any more reply from them in mail. Previously they have replied me within 3-4 days. Does it take so much time?

The address belongs to me by which I have made this transaction. I can sign message with this address. Will it be okay? Cause I haven't posted the address directly at any post.
That should be fine, From the transaction, you just need to highlight to them the address you used along with the link to that the post in the mail you will send to them Wink

Remember to sign a message using a bitcoin addresses you have ever posted here prior to the hack and also quote for them or provide the like of an unedited post that contains the bitcoin address you have posted here in the past.

Here is the unedited post where I posted that address: ...

Like these addresses;

I have just tried your faucet site.
My btc wallet:: 18VHbGyCVf12pwiJrfqn4mFVPWTmmbpgp7

Mahdirakib
1PjqxmgKMdvvNAASSm7JqQ1hocBg9P5Bpo

Is there any chance you are signing the message using the Private keys of one of these addresses? If yes then that will be good news.

I can't sign message with those address. All those address belongs to third parties website, I can just use those address to receive btc. Here is another address I have posted with the account:: 14TtD1Vqj7ZaTvXNCjEmjKxXv3VVSnnCqo
It's also belongs to third parties website.

But here I have posted a transaction link.

My address belongs to blockchain wallet and I have used electrum before to sign message with my address.

This is what they also want you to provide on top of the signed message to really prove that you were the previous owner of the Account

No need, if you sign a message from an andress that makes you the one controlling the private key
........
Posting this from your current accout is enough evidence.
Okay I got the point.

If they are giving you atemplate, yes; the most logical thing is to follow it instead of creating your own message
Well, I have my own message that I used to signed with my address. So I should have followed their template while I signed it!

Electrum seems way safer than using the privkey on an online service.... I just hope his address doesn't come from a blockchain.com wallet, because it's a bit messier to extract them

Thank you guys for your replies.

I don't know if this is a good idea but maybe the OP can try use the brainwallet for the job.

When you sign a message, follow the link above.
Just Click on the Bitcoin-QT button, copy-paste the address, message and signature, (be careful with the spaces!!!) and if you get the green label on top with the Message verified to be from then you can just click on the Signed Message button and copy the finished message format from there.

And see how it looks like in the link below >
Edit: You can verify it here

~
So my address singed message should like that :My account has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to . The current date is .

Not anything else, ex:: This is my address I am owner

No need, if you sign a message from an andress that makes you the one controlling the private keys so basically you are the Owner of the address (if you haven't shared your pr.keys with someone else which will be a stupid act). Posting this from your current accout is enough evidence.

You don't need to PM Theymos. You just need to send the mail to the email address provided as instructed

So now I need to follow this step to get back my account, right?
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/recovering-hackedlost-accounts-5089777
What I need to do? Pm “theymos” here from this account?

Note:: I have already sent them a message by mail from my email address yesterday but still no response from them.

If you get a message similar to "your account is locked"

You should be given an email address in the error message. Send an email there and you will be given further instructions.

They don't reply instant, you have to wait for a few days but be sure your account will be recovered if all the information and evidence provided is accurate.

Thanks for all the information and positive vibes. I will wait for their reply and will update here as soon as I get it.

I was referring to generating signed message online with the help of private keys generated from https://iancoleman.io/bip39/, which doesn't seems to be a safe method due to the requirement of putting your private keys online.

Technically you could save the webpage to a hard drive and run it on a live OS or live DVD on a computer that's disconnected from the internet. But I still wouldn't use that to make a signed message.

I now Understood what you were saying... In that case he should use electrum to sign the message.

Isn't passphrase something like a password but with symbols? Isn't the right term Seed recovery phrase, seed phrase or Backup Phrase?

Yes, it's basically seed phrases for your wallet.

OP doesn't need to worry about privacy with the https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ tool. He can use it while offline and till be able to generate the private key he requires.

You just need to set a pass phrase to your wallet from blockchain.com and put your passphrase here https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ to extract private keys to all the address linked to your wallet. And you can even easily sign a message with the help of your private keys online, but I would recommand going with the Electrum method for privacy.

Edit:

OP here is the procedure
1. Get your blockchain.com back up phrase. If you don't have it, Visit your blockchain.com account and got to security center. Click on Back Up again under back up Phrase and copy it

2. Head over to https://iancoleman.io/bip39. Make sure you are offline before you paste in your Backup phrase

3. Under Generate a random mnemonic select the number depending on how many words you have in your phrase. !2 is usually the default for Blockchain.com wallets

4. Paste your backup phrase inside the BIP39 Mnemonic box

5. Under Coin slelect BTC

6. Make sure the Derivation Path is set at BIP44

7.  Under Derived Addresses, cross-check for your BTC address of interest with the corresponding private key.

I tried but this method isn't working. Can't find more option there to put signed message. If you have blockchain wallet can you check it please.

You could try following the method mentioned by hosseinimr93. It seems to be the only way around as even I have experienced a similar issue before with blockchain.com.
