i think the main reason to make bitcoin is online payment freedom which remain tax free and total freedom of having any amount of money . For which purposes you think Nakamoto created Bitcoin? To earn a lot of money? Or just to create something new?

Bitcoin provide people the chance off having total control of their own money without having to rely in third parties.

Bitcoin was created for got profit and changr internet payment method like paypal, web money and more.
not sure about this because we don't know what is satoshi thinking when he with the team behind bitcoin created and make the formula of bitcoin and maybe only he and the team that will know exactly for what bitcoin created.
I think at first is for business then bitcoin are now good to help other people who want to earn extra money and not just eaning it can helps to make more people rich in the future by investingoney to bitcoin.

Everyone says it is not supported by gold or such, but indirectly it actually is supported by gold and such. The money we purchase bitcoin with is supported by gold and this is just another form of currency, even if the government does not consider it currency, it can be traded for currency, so it is just as good.
I think there is a drift there, the world have actually moved on from backing currencies with gold and all what not. Almost all the currencies out there are piece of papers that could have as well ended as toilet tissues. Government declarations and people's willingness to accept those currencies are the things now backing them and that explains, why some government can go on printing frenzy regardless of the implications to their economy.What is backing bitcoin, is the faith bitcoiners like you and I, have come to have in it. The fact, it is out of the control of any government further strengthens our commitment to it and so is the fact that it is limited in supply. Bottomline is, bitcoin was created to solve the crisis of fiat currencies and good news is that is not doing badly.

That's why every transaction is very cheap and bitcoin itself is a currency which can counter the manipulation of government who are most of them do corruption.

Satoshi did not expect Bitcoin to become this popular and he most probably wanted Bitcoin to be a virtual currency to be used for micro transactions online instead of in actual stores. Satoshi most probably wanted to offer an alternate currency that has a fixed market capital and is trustless, with all the bank bailouts.
Even if that was the case, and I find that thought to be doubtful, an invention can take a life on its own and do things the creator never expected were possible with it.

It was probably created for online peer to peer transactions which would reduce the burden and barriers set by government of various countries. This enabling super fast transaction without and barriers and user have full control over his money and no one could alter the system untill and unless the whole system get interrupted
I think bitcoin is created to show how corrupt is the current finance system and at the same time solve several finance issue regarding centralization and finance control. At the same time, the creator wanted to tell the people that it does not a central authority for a currency to function. With that in mind bitcoin was created with decentralized nature.

Bitcoin was created so that people can send anonymously and fast currency or money without having to go through a middle man.That is the main concept of bitcoin,transactions are confirmed in only 10 minutes and the only real problem bitcoin faces is how to reduce that time so in real time transactions people don't have to wait at the shop before the transactions are confirmed.

it was created to stop the corrupt system and not to make black money .well u may have heard that flat 500 1000 rupee notes have been removed and banned totally .well it is quite a relief for the common man .well statiscally 30 percent of the black money have been removed .so i guess bitcoin will be introduced tats y bitcoin was created by the creator..
