Yes, it's time to look at the future.
It's very hard for me to forget the past ... but it's part of my life and me. Sometimes you really want to forget the unpleasant moments and bring back the good and the positive ... to experience them anew. Want to return people, who are no longer around with me....

All you need is time. Time will cure anything. I don't know how old are you but if you were old enough you wouldn't be sad like this. And if you say this is the right way, you are in the right way. You'll never know what is next for you.. Wait and see..
That isn't true everyone feels differently. Age doesn't not guarantee anything. As far as the time curing everything that I can agree with unless you are the type that becomes fixated on things but in the case that you are not then there will be another there always is if you let it.

One practical thing that worked for me was to write it down in the third person. Write as objectively as possible so you don't re-engage with the memory. I think about memories like fires. If you engage with the memory, you're adding fire to the memory. If you don't engage with it, you let the fire just burn out.
