Faced first hand the disadvantage of having different password for different platforms or medias
Don't let this experience sway you towards bad password habits. It's a very good thing to use a different password for each online account. I mean, it's almost a given that you'll be affected by a data breach at some point, and when that happens, you don't want it to cascade into multiple problems, and you really don't want it to result in your e-mail account(s) getting compromised, too, because then you're up shit creek without even a canoe.

Haven't found a proper solution yet but I believe am more tempered than before.
Use a password manager. (An offline one like KeePassXC, and remember to back up the database file once in a while, too.) Smiley
Roger that cheif.
Never tried password manager but will do now
Always thought it could be easily compromised but I'm just learning there are offline ones now.

Okay the issue of me not been answered since then came from me
Surprised it was
Turns out the email I sent was of a signed message by princejebs which I used as a format in how messag are signed.
Before finding out there was one by Theymos which I later used.
Thanks Rizzrack for clarifying
Was surprised when you said I was princejebs.

Doesn't show where you posted the "compromised" address

I never knew this was possible so usually just copy the address and send without confirming much. Well turns out that was a big mistake on my part. Never knew that clipboard can do such. I don't know if it's a malware, I ended up using an address that wasn't mine and funny holds some units of Bitcoin.

Still confused how something like this could happen,  but try to be cautious and don't feel too lazy to cross check your address before sending or posting. Recall Bitcoin transactions are irreversible after 6 confirmations, once confirmed it's gone. You can tell the wallet address it went to but not the owner. Except they are careless,  which I doubt they are.
For some reason, this links to some Chinese thread. Click on it and see for yourself.

This is from Altcointalk.

I would love to change my wallet address to the above. Turns out the previous one has been compromised. Thank You.
when I asked for a change of address.
Invalid link. Still no evidence showing your compromised address.

Thanks was never told the link was broken.

This should work and about the thread Not showing the address. I didn't see reason to state it at that moment.

Let me rephrase...is Ambatman is the only account you created/used ?
No the IP of the other was consider evil
Something of such nature.
So used VPN to create ambatman

And another I used before for sometime
So No its not.

This is my humble assessment on the matter:

You used to have another account, Princejebs, that got banned. And allegedly besides a few other accounts ... you created Ambatman.

Even though ...

having two account is not a crime

... ban evading is.

You can try harder to remember the email address used and just reset the password for Ambatman. But then again with more accounts it can get tricky to remember all the login credentials.

Let me know what's your take on this.
I saw another thread created by Ambatman and he was directed to continue discussing here. That's how I discovered this thread.
@Rizzrack, I think the case of account recovery is different from ban evasion. If Ambatman has successfully proven that the lost account belongs to him, it might be fine to help him recover the account first, then report to mods for possible ban evasion. Unless you have the ability to nicely handle both.

No I can't
My phone was affected by a malware without my knowledge and even lost my campaign money on winz at Altcointalk to it.
Evidence

Where you ever in control of the BTC address at some point before the "malware" attack? A Yes or No answer could help for the next step of action. Recovery is a sensitive process and there's a reason Rizzrack is asking you those questions. You just have to be honest and be straight forward with your answers.
No
It was never mine
The malware changes any address i copy to another similar to the copied one.

when I asked for a change of address.

When I copy and paste and address i usually just check the first letters without knowing there was a difference
I realised that when I made a transaction from an address of mine to another
And waiting a day without getting it
I had to check the address and saw the dissimilarities
Tried copying and pasting and found what I copied was different from what I pasted
And the only way to get the original is checking my copy log.

Thanks for your time.
