Currently, many E-sport projects have raised capital with ICOs and also apply blockchain technology and tokens as a means of payment for users.
Such games are popular in Europe and they are experimenting with the digital market. I think that in the future game companies will apply blockchain technology soon, it will make the payment very fast and convenient instead of trading via Visa or Mastercard.

from the beginning I had thoughts like that. I initially thought this would happen and expect the famous game to adopt the blockchain. I am a lover of FPS games (frames per second). I spend half of my time playing this game, initially I wanted to sell items in the game using / transactions with crypto assets, but I remember that in certain countries prohibiting transactions with crypto assets.

I'm sure these 4 games if you accept / adopt this blockchain technology are very good news and crypto will grow significantly.
There are so many volumes of gamers around the world, and your thoughts may become true if this really happens.
I am also a gamer and I can't still imagine its effect in the gaming industry and its effect on the crypto world, we should expect positive and a negative effect once this was implemented.

This would give a huge push to the whole industry, because such thing as gaming has huge audience and would definitely help to spread the world about crypto currencies and blockchain, especially among Fortnite and DOTA players.

e-sports gambling platforms are currently still not popular, especially with regard to crypto. there have been many gambling projects like ball, casino and others released from last year, but none of them have really succeeded and survived until now. so I doubt that the platform could trigger mass adoption.

There is no doubt that this will definitely happen. I remember in 2017 a few gaming projects wanted to do this, it is just too much to take for a small project with limited resources. They were talking about their own platform like steam. It sounds nice but look at what you are going up against. It just didn't make sense to me why people got so excited and invest so much into the gaming projects. They invest before they even see any results.
Its crazy how some people just splash their money around mindlessly at a project just because the idea is nice or it looks pretty or promises have been made.

You will in the future be able to actually own your own items somehow. I think with erc 721 fungal tokens. That way you can bring the value of your item with you into other games or even just trade on the market for profit.

What do you guys think about e-sports? Do you think it will help bring in mass adoption? I think with the amount of gamers on those 4 platforms alone this could help mass adoption for crypto in the gaming market.

There are hundreds of millions of e-sport gaming fans, players, and supporters around the globe. Premiums, cards, loads, and other upgrades can now be bought using cryptocurrencies. Other than that, cryptocurrency betting sites are also offering odds on e-sports games. The millions of fans who are hard supporters of e-sports teams and players can now make bets on them using cryptocurrency. This is doubtless a great step toward adoption in this big industry and community.

We also hosted an esports event in Vegas with Litecoin recently.

Adoption to E-Sports and Crypto seem to be happening simultaneously lately, which is great news for fans and companies alike (of which I represent both currently Cheesy )

The idea itself is not a bad one as blockchain can really show us new horizons in online gaming and eSports. But do not forget that Blizzard, Valve and others are very large entities and they are closely linked to the public sector. The state allocates huge subsidies to these companies and the loss of this money will be fatal for the company. In order to effectively lead the blockchain system in eSports, we need the adoption of cryptocurrency at the state level.

you have no idea how big is the gaming business. nowaday every games developer scrambling each other to get consumer gamers around the world as many they can. because this business does have a bright future. imagine if the games business could collaborate with cryptocurrencies would be a profitable adoption. a duet with a game or esport business will improve the ecosystem, i believe.

The intention of this projects are not really disrupting the game but only to add side gambling during game matches, sports betting become popular during early days of blockchain technology and now Esports. Even it has no direct connections with game the companies, it can somehow encourage adopters specially the millennials which are fond of video gaming.

In my opinion PUBG, Fortnite, Dota 2, and other games have not yet used the blockchain. Yes they do use digital coins, but that is not cryptocurrency, because cryptocurrency must use blockchain technology as a transaction journal.
E-sports are accepting payments using credit cards and debit cards, and even game cards to add a fund to your accounts. If esports may be able to adapt from blockchain technology its possible to boost the transactions when using top-ups. It will even increase the usage of crypto that will sump up the demand that we currently have right now. It will also expand the scope and use of cryptocurrency.

If game players start accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment, many young people will learn about this breakthrough technology and start using it as well  Smiley.

I don't know how they can manage a whole game on Blockchain. PUBG mobile on such a big servers still cause many server sided lags. Plus they require huge amount of active database transfers to store starts etc. It is really not an easy task to move a multiplier game on Blockchain.

According to your narrative, blockchain has already become a part of big sports leagues like NBA, football, and cricket that happen worldwide?

The project that you shared just focuses on betting on e-sports matches using cryptocurrencies, that's it. Don't think that might increase blockchain adoption, as the only players betting on it would be the ones already involved in crypto gambling.

As others have, incorporating the cryptocurrencies into these games would definitely give blockchain a boost, but not this.

This is a bet platform, nothing big here but i used to imagine that if any token or coin is been built to serve as a gate way to buying upgrades and gadgets in video games such token will have better value and good volume because of higher demands

This is not officially from the games companies, this platform is just a betting platorm but still looks good to me, i don't know if adding coins or tokens to earn in video games will be a good idea or bad idea but i am sure it can make many people get into gaming more

Esports or gaming industries really fit well using blockchain or crypto for their payment method.
Because the ease of access and to handle the problem that sometimes users are topped up but the "cash" is not arrived yet, they can easily look at the blockchain link.
It is not fitting well for the company who manages e-sports.
Steam decided to add bitcoin as a payment option on year 2017, it didn't run well due to high fees and the volatility of cryptocurrency. They stop using bitcoin as a payment method after realizing it. Cryptocurrency as a payment option is still undeveloped. there's a lot of flaws that needs to be fixed before it can finally become accepted even in esports industry.
