You are right that they give it to have fun and try, but there are other casinos that the requirement is lower or also that there is no requirement to withdraw winnings from free spins.

I always assumed that there could be "some" people who make a profit out of it. I am not saying that it would be profitable for everyone but at least a few people should be able to do it. 30x requirement was like that, it meant that majority of people would not make any profit at all, but there would have been a few people who would.
