I apologize in advance, but I find this funny to read.
The author of the article is so naive.
In this and in any other casino you can read many cases of players not getting paid at all! Referring to a multi-account or the fact that the provider suddenly canceled the acceptance of bets!
It seems incredible to new players when your bet is accepted and then canceled for reasons unrelated to the sporting event.
Read a little more and you will understand that the casino never works honestly! They have your money! The rules that you accept when registering can be explained briefly - "whatever you do on our site, we can cancel any bets and block your balance for as long as we want!"
In your case, I can congratulate you on getting paid 100k - that's a big win! Thank you Fortunejack for paying =)
In the future, I do not advise you to bet on such large amounts! They can take away your deposit and give nothing at all!
Don't apologise, I know when you're not involved in something it's easier to laugh about it
. You say the author is naive.... I don't think so. This is the administrator of a gambling mediation website who's been running for more than 10 years (maybe 15) so he knows what he's talking about.
If I follow your logic, as you state that this might happen in "any other casino", that's not true. Not everybody is mediocre. We humans have a natural sense of good and evil and a lot of people operate on these principles and usually don't do evil, and don't persist on doing evil in any way. It doesn't mean we should accept evil as a standard if some people, like the FortuneJack team, operate on this principle.
Take another example: have you ever heard a similar story with Rollbit? Not paying winning bets? Really?
And by the way, it's ridiculous to thank them paying 100k while they should:
-Be paying all of my winnings, which amounts to 240K.
-Be the ones to thank me gambling on their website since they make money off people like me, without the need to steal.
And a lot of online and landbased casinos work honestly. You accept a bet, the bet wins, you PAY without making that much noise.
in your case there were no violations!
you have exceeded the maximum winnings specified in the rules! Therefore, it happened.
You bet a lot of money and at the same time were too lazy to check it. Why? Do you really think that the bookmaker can pay you any amount?
You write that there should be no acceptance of a bet if the potential winnings are greater than the maximum - that's where you're wrong! because it's impossible to do that! there is no guarantee that you will win on all bets. Yes, you can lose any amount, but you can win no more than 100 thousand.
You bet 200k at odds of 2.0 = you win 100k (not 200k). Do you understand? You still win!
What are you arguing with? that the casino does not have the right to set limits on winnings? Or do you think that you should have displayed a message like - "you can bet no more than 100 thousand at a factor of 2.0 because it exceeds the maximum win" ?! this will never happen! because there is no guarantee that you will win! Do you understand?
There is no point in blaming Fortunejack now. You've all been paid!
