- why is shipping internationally $50!? Would it be cheaper if you were shipping to Canada?
- what do you mean by ID will be required? Is that only if we do not sign it when the delivery arrives?
Smoothie ships via USPS with certified mail with restricted delivery. This means that only you can pick up/accept/sign for the package, and that you must personally show picture ID when you sign for the package. The parcel will be kept under lock and key the entire time while in transit to you - why is shipping internationally $50!? Would it be cheaper if you were shipping to Canada?

Actually he sends it registered, but all those stipulations apply. Registered is the safest method of shipping available for this sort of thing.

Not sure how much different it would be.
The reason is it is shipped USPS registered mail with restricted delivery.
Restricted delivery is to ensure that the addressee gets the package.
I prefer not to deal with having someone claim they never got the coins when they paid for them and I shipped it to them.
Also if your coins are funded when I ship it, it makes sense to send it the most secure way I am able to.
Not sure if there is import tax with your country you should check with your local customs office for details on this.
