If you're expecting the posts to be recovered into the thread - I don't think that's gonna happen. Anybody should be able to delete their posts for any reason and this kind of forced recovery (and then what - how would you prevent them from being deleted again?) would set a really bad precedent.
It was very long shot, but yes, it would probably bring some more "requests". What about, only if removed posts makes thread "funny and unreadable" (as Coyster said) then posts should be returned?
The best you can do is maybe repost important stuff from archives
Most of them are unfortunately not archived.
It looks funny and strange when the chain of discussions are actually broken as is done in this thread, most of what GP wrote was actually quoted by other users before they aired their views on them, but with the absence of the posts right now, the entire thread looks quite funny and unreadable.
Exactly my point.

I could get raw HTML for you but LoyceV might have it in a more readable format.
I didn't scrape older posts, so unfortunately I don't have this saved. But your raw HTML can probably become human readable quite easily by uploading it somewhere and opening it in a browser.

It's not possible for mods to retrieve the deleted posts and put them right back in the same position, the best thing would be to lock or thrash the thread, but as @Suchmoon said, it's still active.

I'll just avoid any of GP threads going forward if I were you

Isn't it better to just lock the thread if OP deleted his contributions?

The thread is still active so I don't think there is any grounds for mods to lock it and the OP won't lock it either.

Good idea. Locking then archiving it, but your idea is only relevant for deleted posts of OPs, and can not be applied for posts of users whom join discussions inside threads.

There is a thread on this issue: Request for additional confirmation window before deleting the post.
Users can get their deleted posts back from draft page, but it is limited to only 100 saved drafts, and they will be deleted entirely after 7 days.
In contrast, they can not recover their deleted posts to original orders in threads: Forum does not allow it, and forum staffs don't want to see that happen.
I know would be useful for users, but as a moderator I hope this doesn't happen with deleting other users posts as it would be a nightmare.
Drafts do not include links to original posts.
Yep. Drafts unfortunately don't include a link to the thread where you wanted to post your reply, unless you quote someone in your reply, (which i usually do.)

That looks something like
Code:
[quote author=Ferylero link=topic=4971628.msg45182093#msg45182093 date=1536065952]
When you click on it it'll redirect you to the topic that the draft was made for/in.

There is another way to get delete posts, from clone forums, but I doubt that the time period to get them back since deleting timepoints is not too long because clone forums will do upgrade their database. Months ago, I misedited my thread, and @iasenko help me to get right version back from clone forum.
Are there methods to move backwards to previous version of OPs in the forum

Eh, thanks, it is not for me, I know what GP posted and what we all "discussed" about, but, someone who start reading thread won't have clue what is going on. Sorry, I just feel stupid when I see 3-4 posts in row with some quotations, sometimes without author(because it is easier to c/p parts of post instead quoting complete post and removing most parts several times). I believe having GP's answers (or avoided questions) there are very important for thread. I could understand that GP removed few posts, but 480?

(if you remove your post, how will this post look like? )

Is it possible to recover "some" posts in this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/game-protect-online-gaming-consumer-protection-1535816 ?

Everything game-protect posted was deleted by game-protect and now thread looks like bunch accounts talked to themselves and/or quoted not existing posts.

Just Few examples:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1535816.180
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1535816.200
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1535816.220

July 13, 2019 --> 43 pages http://archive.is/FE04W
Few months back, April 09, 2019 --> 67 pages http://web.archive.org/web/20190409195145/https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/game-protect-online-gaming-consumer-protection-1535816

That makes 24 pages missing or 480 posts removed.
