I will close this thread after a few minutes.

My problem is already resolved and the request is not valid, because there is already a confirmation window, which popups before deleting the post.

To avoid such problems, with missing confirmation windows, settings for Bitcointalk notifications have to be set up correctly in each browser!!!

Thank you very much @Pmalek, @TryNinja you are right and there has to be a setting for popups, but I couldn't find it. Just remember that there was such a setting in older browser versions.

Anyway, tried to use Chrome again and hasn't used it for a while. When opened, the pop-up window shows up, to make Chrome my main browser, which I did.
When logged to Bitcointalk, message window shows up, asking for permission to show Bitcointalk notifications and from now I see this before deleting the post.

Thanks again  Grin Grin Grin

This message also shows up for me when using both Chrome and Firefox.

It’s probably some configuration in your browser. Is your Chrome clean or do you have any extension or custom configuration?

Is JavaScript enabled on your browser?

...Try it with Chrome and see if you get the popup. Maybe there is an option somewhere in the settings to enable this... checking now.

From some time I try to use Brave with all ads switched off, which means full privacy and I think Brave blocks all popups.

As you said tried Chrome, FF and still, there is no popup for me. WTF?

Would be great if other members can confirm this popup. Which browser are you using?
It works 100% on Chrome. I tried it with an older post just to make sure I don't delete something that is of importance to me now. Maybe the post needs to be X days/weeks/months old for you to get that popup message.
I will try deleting this message now after I post it and let you know what happens.

Edit: Just tried it on this post and I still receive the same popup message to confirm post deletion.
Try it with Chrome and see if you get the popup. Maybe there is an option somewhere in the settings to enable this... checking now.

Edit 2: No options in the setting regarding the popup to confirm post deletion.

You don't see this when you try?

No nothing. I hit delete and the post is gone. I even tried to check on other sections and works this same.

Therefore, I want to suggest/request an additional pop-up window, as a confirmation before deleting the post.

Now is enough to hit the delete button and post is gone.
You don't get a popup window asking you if you want to confirm that you want to remove the message?
I just tried it on one of my posts and I get a popup asking me to confirm the deletion.

You don't see this when you try?

Moderators sometimes have to delete posts and sometimes a lot of them in one go. It would take double the time if I had to confirm the deletes and a lot of the time I just open the post I want to delete in a new window. This probably wouldn't work if I had to double down on them.

Ok now I understand you correctly and what you think about this, as a solution to the above problem:

What if there is an option in profile page...users who want to use that option (pop-up confirmed message when deleting posts), can tick in the check box and activate it.
Moderators or normal users who don't want to use the option, just don't tick in the check box.

I think this is a great idea. Just add such an option in the profile page settings.

...I hope this doesn't happen with deleting other users posts...
What did you mean by that? I try to but don't understand.
I think mod meant that each day forum mods have to check hundreds or thousands of reports from forum users (such as spamming, off-topic, whatever reports on bad posts). Then, if there is only one option for all (normal users and mods), they will have to spend more time when deleting bad posts reported.
That is why I suggest confirmation window (if implemented) should be an optional choice.

I know would be useful for users, but as a moderator I hope this doesn't happen with deleting other users posts as it would be a nightmare.
What if there is an option in profile page, it might be helpful.

...don't think forum users can revert their mistakenly deleted posts to original place.

Thought so, but better to ask and be sure. I am here for so long, but still, learn something new each day.

Can I fully recover post from the draft? I mean that he will be published in the same place as original?
I think drafts are only helpful if you mistakenly do something wrong with your threads, not posts. Threads are unable to delete, of course, so you can only mistakenly edited threads. Then, when you find that you did it mistakenly, you can see older versions of your threads in draft page, or from phising sites, and use them (if you can find) to edit your threads to previous versions.
For example:
I look at my draft page, and found the last one is:
Code:
Agree.
[quote author=wwzsocki link=topic=5161144.msg51690843#msg51690843 date=1562142417]
Yes, of course, I can find them there or even in drafts if edited before, but this doesn't solve the problem at all.

An additional pop-up window will save us from mistakenly removed posts.

Admin can help you, so you can ask for help if your mistakenly deleted posts are very very important.

One just can't recover posts and this is important that the post is published in the same place as original in the discussion from obvious reasons.

As you can see, there are no information on date&  time; number of topic, and message. Therefore, it is another reason that I don't think forum users can revert their mistakenly deleted posts to original place.

You can take a look through your drafts to see if you can recover any of your posts, although they are deleted after seven days, and there is a limit of 100 saved drafts. On more than one occasion it has been useful to me when trying to recover a version of a post after wrecking it with an edited publication.

...some time ago, again, by mistake, I removed a very long post, which was important for the discussion and already merited by a few members.
Until today is not recovered back, despite I asked for this via my local moderator and he was willing to help.

It's a great request. In the meantime, you can find it by searching with phising sites that try to clone bitcointalk.org. I think you can find your deleted posts if those phising sites have not yet updated their databases.
Sometimes you can find what you need with drafts, sometimes not
