What do you mean by track, do you mean search 
Google is the best way to search the forum, just add site:bitcointalk.org to the end of the search.

Searching isn't so much a problem as just keeping tabs on the volume of topics I will lend focus to.
I'm familiar with the various features of the board but for some reason I think there has to be a better way (that is external of the board).
I've managed so far. I'll just look forward to the BBS upgrade.
Anyone out there using forum reading software/client/web interface to help make this forum easier to track?
I seem to think that there has to be a better way but have not Googled successfully.
