i don't have 0.01 BTC to begin with, can I just get it and then I'll gamble it ?
Lost enough BTC to Satoshi Dice, Gambling with BTC is dangerous because it doesn't feel like real money.. Read up on the guy who lost his life savings.

Yes but one could argue that casinos use even more elaborate schemes to render the gameplay instinctive and thoughtless, first of all every casino exchanges your dollars to chips so it doesn't feel like real money, secondly rumors of casinos pumping oxygen into the ventilation systems, removing clocks/windows, giving free drinks to players, free rides etc are pretty widespread so I think it is safe to assume that we create an environment which is a lot more safe.
True Story: I got punched in the head by casino security once while abroad and it's not like I'm an incredible douche who seeks to troll people in public, I think it was completely uncalled for and unexpected. Getting in fights abroad isn't that fun.
