Oh what a week, just saw that it was my best performance of the lot, and just missed out on a prize by 1 position, so will be kicking myself for not just making 1 more winning bet.

Good round nevertheless. Glad to see I could still get points even without changing my regular betting patterns. With a bit more luck, who knows?

Points and Daily Challenge Update

Hello everyone, as you know this is the last day of this 2nd Edition. Patt0 has a 20 point lead, but the fight for first place is not over yet.
Seventh place is not guaranteed as well, and points are a big mess between 2nd and 5th place, so anything can still happen on this final day.

If we look to monthly prizes, there are a lot of players around 200 points, so once again, anything can still happen here.

I guess we should have a very exciting betting day. Good luck guys!

- There is no Daily Challenge for tomorrow since this is the last day of the 2nd Edition

- We will announce the winner of the #28 Daily Challenge tomorrow
- We will announce the winners of the 4th Week, and Monthly winners of the 2nd Edition of this competition tomorrow as well
- As usual, don't forget that you need to have at least 1 settled bet on any given day to qualify for points.

@Betwrong glad you agree! Now we just have to wait for a 3rd Edition to test the "Betwrong Daily Challenge"!
That is of course up to BetKing, so we will have to wait for their decision after this 2nd Edition ends.

@Betwrong
We like you idea, but it's like DarkStar_ said. If we just take into consideration the amount won (mBTC), then the highest current bankroll has a huge advantage, since it can bet more by default. So it needs tweaking.

This is my line of thinking right now (correct me if we see any problems with this):
- The easiest tweak would be consider ROI% instead of "flat" mBTC won.
- Of course that if we consider ROI%, then players "need" to make 5% bets, to maximize their chances of winning this daily challenge.
- Assuming all players will use 5% for that challenge, then the odds will play the decisive role in determining the winner of the challenge.
- If we just use pairs of bets, then it's almost like finding the player that wins @highest odds, and we already have one very similar.

My suggestion would be: Having the highest "daily ROI% block" in a sequence of winning bets.
- Instead of just pair of bets, we would consider all winning sequences of bets (minimum of 2 winning bets, and minimum odds @1.2).
- Instead of number of wins (because we already have that as well), we would consider the highest ROI% block of those winning bets.
- This would still encourage players to make 5% bets, but besides that, everyone would have an equal chance of winning.
- And yes, in this Challenge the player that wins @highest odds will win as well, but since we will now ask for at least another win in sequence with that one, this challenge will be even harder than winning @highest odds.
- We can also tweak the difficulty of this challenge by increasing the minimum number of bets or odds for that sequence to be eligible for this daily.

This would probably be that hardest Daily Challenge we ever had.
Let us know what you think!
~

I absolutely agree with what DarkStar_ said (I didn't think of that, and now I see that if my proposal wasn't tweaked, indeed it would be unfair towards players with smaller bankroll) and I absolutely agree with your suggestions. So now, if I'm not mistaken, it can look like this:

"User with highest "daily ROI% block" in a sequence of winning bets wins."

Also I agree with tweaking the difficulty, as you suggested, to make it the hardest Daily Challenge ever. I think, the harder the funnier. Smiley

He actually tied with with GT0Bot for this one (Bet ID: 68917739) but patt0's daily ROI% was better on that day (9.0994% vs -2.0759%), so the win was his. Congrats to both for the efforts, and to patt0 for the win!

Hello everyone! We finally have some Daily Challenges suggestions. Thanks a lot for that!

Now, analyzing your suggestions:

@Betwrong

@DarkStar_ and GT0Bot
These are easy to do of course, and we are just making it harder than the other versions.
We can cycle between all of them. Keep the 1.2 as it is, in one day, but do the 1.9 or 1.7 in some other day. And yes, on the higher odds version, we can start @1.9 for example, and if no one qualifies, we check again for 1.8, etc

By the way guys, I just came up with an idea after reading your suggestions.
For each Daily Challenge accepted, we will give it your name for the Challenge xD

So once we come to an agreement with Betwrong, we will create the "Betwrong Daily Challenge".
And right now, we already have the "DarkStar_ Daily Challenge".

I know it's just a name, but I think it's cool, and I hope you guys like it!
(I will make the update on the leaderboard in a few hours)

EDIT: Forgot to comment on the "Highest average odds on winning bets" (suggested by DarkStar_). It's a possibility as well.
And yes, it might discourage normal betting, but Daily Challenges normally do that. This is one of the reasons why we encourage players to use up to 3 accounts, so they can try different strategies. They can use 1 account for normal style betting, one account for Daily Challenges attempts, and they still have another one to test different things. We really like to encourage that.

Would be interesting to see most bets won/most bets won in a row with higher minimum odds (perhaps @1.7)

+1 for this. (keep the 1.2, then a 1.5, and maybe a 1.9 so it gets really tough to find winners, 3 seperate challenges).

Would be interesting to see most bets won/most bets won in a row with higher minimum odds (perhaps @1.7) so that it's not just spamming low odd bets. Or perhaps a challenge for most Live betting wins/highest Live betting ROI.

Could also go with more strategic ones, such as "Highest average odds on winning bets" though that might discourage normal betting.

User who wins the most with two consecutive bets (combined).

Meaning that if a user A loses 0.5 mBTC and right after that wins 3 mBTC, the result is calculated as follows:

-0.5 mBTC + 3 mBTC = 2.5 mBTC

Of course if there's a pair of consecutive bets with higher result during the same day, that pair should be considered.

In short, user with the best pair wins.

Biased towards $500 bankroll players. You're excluding all $50 and $250 players pretty much as well as those who don't stake the full 5% per bet. Those who are at a higher profit also have an advantage due to being able to place higher stakes. I like the idea, but needs some tweaking.

Hello, FrueGreads! First off, thanks for the elaborative reply! I wasn't very lucky lately, but I still enjoy participating in the competition. It's funny that during the current competition I was winning with odds @5.35 and @3.20 in the past and now I'm losing with @1.26, like yesterday. But I hope luck will be with me again soon. Smiley

Regarding the suggestion for a new Daily Challenge, here's mine:

User who wins the most with two consecutive bets (combined).

Meaning that if a user A loses 0.5 mBTC and right after that wins 3 mBTC, the result is calculated as follows:

-0.5 mBTC + 3 mBTC = 2.5 mBTC

Of course if there's a pair of consecutive bets with higher result during the same day, that pair should be considered.

In short, user with the best pair wins.

We've had a few surprises this week, with vd309 and Whitesugar absent from the top places, and patt0, Bolt Brownie and GT0Bot (looshygooshy) doing extremely well.
I started bad and tried hard to make a come back but it just didn't work. Yesterday I saw the light for the daily prize with 13% ROI but MapTWO had a different opinion with his 45% ROI  Grin Grin Big congrats to patt0,  well deserved first place. Good luck this week guys.

Thanks, it was a really nice week for me, but unless I can make it again, like you keep doing since first edition and all those guys that keep showing up at the Top7 regularly, I must say this was just a lucky week xD

I do feel comfortable with this small bankroll, so I will do my best to put up a fight for this last week as well!

Good luck guys!

- We will now reset weekly points. This means that everyone will have an equal winning chance on week 4.
~

This is a good news! Looking at monthly points of other competitors, it seems that I have slim chances of winning any of the monthly prizes, but I will definitely try to take one of the paid places in this one.

I'm glad you like this. We want participants to have good chances of winning our prizes, so our main focus goes to Daily and Weekly prizes. Every week players have a fresh start, and even if the week goes bad at some point, there are always daily prizes to be won!

The monthly prizes are just that sweet extra reward for amazing consistency!
Of course that after seeing players like patt0 and Mapagmahal, doing over 30% ROI in a single day, who knows what can happen!

I'm wondering is it possible to say, at least approximately, how much do those people who take 1-3 places in weekly contests here wager per day on average. I mean, at a first approximation, is it over 1 mBTC or it could be less than that?

Well, if you want accurate results, you can always check their profiles. All their bets are listed on their profile (by clicking on their name at the leaderbaord), and it's easy to see all bets and bet stakes per day.

Without doing that work, and looking just at last week, those players seem to have an average of 2 or 3 bets per day. They need to wager at least 1% of their current bankroll, so players with a $500 or $250 bankroll clearly wager over 1mBTC per day, but players with a $50 probably wager less than 1mBTC per day.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that we can create new Daily Challenges, and we are always open for suggestions. So if you have one, please let us know, and we will see if we can add it.

EDIT 2: Of course that for those using a $50 bankroll, and since they seem to be in profit, and probably make 5% bets, instead of just 1%, they probably also wager a bit more than 1mBTC per day, or stay very close to it.

I'm wondering is it possible to say, at least approximately, how much do those people who take 1-3 places in weekly contests here wager per day on average. I mean, at a first approximation, is it over 1 mBTC or it could be less than that?

We've had a few surprises this week, with vd309 and Whitesugar absent from the top places, and patt0, Bolt Brownie and GT0Bot (looshygooshy) doing extremely well.
I started bad and tried hard to make a come back but it just didn't work. Yesterday I saw the light for the daily prize with 13% ROI but MapTWO had a different opinion with his 45% ROI  Grin Grin Big congrats to patt0,  well deserved first place. Good luck this week guys.
