Despite being one of the ugliest sites I have seen since the 90s,
canhasbitcoin.tk has been added to the list.

When all else fails, is there a thumbdrive iso i can plug in to do cpu mining with?
PS thanks for the list of free coins

You may want to ask your question in its own thread, or check out one of the technical/mining subforums...

But cpu mining is not worth it anyway you look at it.

Bitcrate has been re-filled.

And in case you haven't notice already they have changed things... there is less of a chance of getting the small 1000 Satoshi prize there now.

I got around 0.5 btc in an hour, which is pretty good Smiley
...

Are you sure it's 0.5 btc you got in an hour ?
coinworker pays 0.00013 BTC (13,000 satoshis) for those 1-point task
Their 3-point tasks pays 0.00040 BTC (40,000 satoshis)
It takes the completion of 1250 3-point tasks to get 0.5 BTC.
(0.5 / 0.00040 = 1250)
Perhaps my math is wrong and I am slow Smiley

Yup got a pay out of 0.5233 something rather BTC while I was doing task for around an hour. I did mainly the 1 point task that gives you 30x bonus if the answer is good and got quite a few of those. And the 0.5 point task making up questions with 15x bonus.

But in my country, New Zealand, we get 5 daily task that are worth 15 points each and that's just Google searching it takes about 30 seconds, so its easy 75 points in a  minute or two Tongue

I get some other bonuses too through crowdflower if you get achievements, it helps, and it really adds up at the end of the day.

Perhaps coinworker has different payouts and offers in New Zealand. I found coinwoker's offers here in the US not really worth while unless I have absolutely nothing else to do. I have done 5 tasks with them and have not seen any of the 30x or 15x bonuses you mentioned. The 5 tasks I have done earned me 5 points (took about 20 minutes) (0.00067 BTC = 0.00067000) and coinworker won't pay until I have accumulated 180 points. Wish me luck on that Smiley coinworker has a few 2-point tasks on my list. I tried and I gave up on them once I realized it would take me at 15 minutes or longer to do each.
If someone else here has experience with coinworker's offer in the US, please post and let us/me know of your experience.

Having bitcoins is fun but earning them through these "free bitcoin" sites is tough Smiley
I read in a post here where someone who had worked on the other side (for the offereing websites) mentioning that the click-through rate (earning) for the offering website is between $0.20 and $5.00. Less than 1/10 of a penny, in most cases, is then used to pay people looking for "free" bitcoins. I do realize the sites that make you spend a few seconds on the site looking at ads earn much less. I don't know the rate. Anyone knows ?

Calculation/guide I use when checking out these "free bitcoin" sites :
bitcoin is now at US$75 if you are paid a generous 0.00010000 BTC per whatever task required, this 0.00010000 BTC translates to US$0.0075 or about 3/4 of a US penny.
To get a US penny (at the current exchange of US$75 = 1 BTC)  you need these "free bitcoin" websites to pay you 0.00013333 or 13,333 satoshis.
Feel free to correct my math everyone.

In Canada I found it really isn't worth it anymore ( in the past it wasn't too bad ). If you check out their support forums you will also find many problems people have with getting paid for a lot of the tasks they have done. I was one of them.

It definitely isn't a "free" Bitcoin site.
