Yes, the days of average people getting much from mining are long past I am afraid
( unless one buys some shares in some big company with monstrous asic farms,
and one has to be careful... there is a lot of shading ones out there ).
And of course using these faucets are not a way to make much BTC either... that
isn't really the point of this list...
What good is it if one only gets very very small amounts?

Also one can sell a product or service for BTC or ask to be paid in BTC by ones customers ( if one has a business )
or employers ( if one is working for someone else ).

Like any investment one has to determine such things for themselves. Bitcoin is still a risky investment and one shouldn't lay out more money than they can afford to lose.

Ones balance is in the upper right. They payout once a week, usually on Monday. But you no doubt need to get above dust levels ( > ~0.000055 BTC ) before they payout.

I was thinking of re-adding dailyfreebitcoin... I was waiting to see if my latest payout went through. I am getting close to the minimum.
I also have been checking out dailyfreebits to see if they payout. Still quite a ways from their cashout minimum.
