Anyone in the Bitcoin community know any free online video courses that can help me become more better in computer programming and computer technician skills? I am planning to learn a few things about computer hardware and software that would be helpful in my career. I appreciate the help from the community.

You can try looking for courses in YouTube, DailyMotion, Udemy and SkillShare. They have a lot of free courses to get you started. Can then move on to paid ones if you need the more advanced courses.

EDX tends to have really quality stuff for free:

https://www.edx.org/course/subject/computer-science

I tried this and did not really like the way they explain. Khan academy has better videos for computers for sure.

Is there a free online courses that offer certificates, that you have tried?

I have not tried these yet. But based on the answers udemy and coursera gives certificates. Best at a very economical price. But I do hope those certs could be resume-worthy for applying a job in the IT industry. I certainly hope.

Hi benedictonathan,

Coursera allows you to review the lectures and non-graded course material for free. If you want credit for the course, with certificate, it is $29 - $99 per course. https://www.coursera.org/

University of the People has tuition-free degree programs for computer science, and has the backing of corporate partners like Microsoft, Google, etc. http://www.uopeople.edu/

Mooc.org has free online courses in coding and computer science. http://mooc.org/

I hope this helps.  Smiley

Youtube has free videos on almost everything!  You will have to work to build a course list however.

If you can spare $15, this course will pay for itself by getting you the A+ certification.

Thank you for those answers. For udemy you said that it will also give me a certification for a small fee. And that certification is resume worthy I guess? Meaning I can use it when I apply for a job in computers or IT.
