Get over it. I always find it so disgusting when people show up in a thread of generosity and start griping about one thing or another. Your rank is what it is - and you legitimately only have to put in the same thing that wheelz1200 did at this point... time. So airdropped merit or not, you still wouldn't be legendary.

I could go off for ever as to how it's apples and oranges comparing pre-merit accounts with post-merit accounts and the motivations for being a net benefit to the forum or the general population of both. I don't think it's necessary. Again ranks are more or less meaningless, and it's petty to bring this up in a giveaway thread of all places.

Maybe the post will be deleted, but this time for being off-topic (lol!), not for containing the word expressing gratitude

(as well as my post - lol again).

However, the suggested alternative (to express gratitude in a PM) also doesn't seem a good one, as it would imply for a raffle runner to have his inbox full or messages.

But if this bot will be kept (I remember LoyceV created something similar or maybe it is actually LoyceV's bot) then maybe theymos would not need so many mods. If the bot does the job, then keep the bot and 2-3 mods at most, which will have to analyze just bot's results.

However, from now on we know that we are not allowed to be polite anymore inside this board, toward a member which creates raffles, excepting for the winners...
