How faucet can be abused on a faucet site like freebitco.in? If you don't like people using faucet, maybe you should close it completely?

I am sorry for being ridiculous but this is a faucet site from the beginning and now it becomes a huge site for gambling and earning money so why he just banned for being faucet abuser? I do not understand it is the reason for you to ban him. People will doubt your doing here right now. A faucet site banned player from claiming the faucet? This is really absurd
discussions in bitcointalk can get really funny , why would they leave him ? what are the benefits that he is offering for the site ?
he is abusing the site creating tons of accounts so maybe he can get a dollar or two per month , if he has only one account they won't prevent him from claiming the faucet
if you have a good idea for making a faucet that allows multi accounting please go for it and create a faucet , your whole comment doesn't make sense

Creating hundreds of accounts as the referrals of one master account my friend. It wasn't that hard to find out C'mon. I know it doesn't make sense to you but there are people abusing this. freedogecoin is no more because of that.
How do they track it down? Is there any system to detect possible abuse of their program? If someone uses VPN services with more than 10k IP addresses managed each day, note down the IP and name of account used to login on that IP and only login when they get that IP back, how will these guys outreach these kind of abuse? Is it legal if someone has 100 devices with 100 static IP addresses and they use the faucet with a single master account and all others under it as their referrals?
Pretty sure the guy just made a few accounts himself and probably didn't bother with the VPN route. And even if he took the time to go with a VPN it's not that difficult because he basically all had them linked to a single account.
This is the reason why many sites no longer offer actual faucets because of abuse like this. A few years back there was very little faucet abuse and I remember some sites would give you like 3000 sats for each faucet claim. And then 2017 rolled around and people started to get clever and basically ruined bitcoin faucets for everyone.
Hence why most sites just offer some demo or fake token plays and instead of faucets they got promos for the genuine members.

It would be nice if you would make it available, there will be no harmvif you do it. If I would be without spot in signature campaign, I'd probably would wear Freebitco.in signature

@mindrust, I don't think that they need to make signature campaign, especially when they are running huge marketing campaign - Lambo golden ticket lottery which got lot of coverage in crypto space. I'm sure they have prepared more plans how to promote their website in future.

We don't need to run a signature campaign. We get enough traffic from the forum as it is.

I have lots of tools to alert me to abuse.
It is very simple to define abuse. Anything that allows one person to play more than one free roll per hour and/or earn referral commissions for themself.

I have so many questions but none are too complex, all of them basically goes to "how could someone abuse something thats literally free" in some sense. Have they used the free money they got for something different? Have they deposited and withdrawn to increase the amount they would get on multiple accounts so they could get more but never spent the money they deposited, only used it for the boosts? WHAT IS IT??

Is there a limit on how many times we can use the rewards? For example, it looks like my reward points are good enough to get the extra reward point reward, if I do that then I will be capable of basically getting both more rewards and free money for a day, then next day I will be capable of doing the same over and over and over again, which gives me more reward points and while doing that I will be getting free money, now I know free money part is already in there for years but I didn't know how frequently you can use the reward points, if I can use it all the time then I would basically be printing more reward points for a long time, it may think a ton of time to get enough to buy something like a ledger nano for example but it would make it quicker.
@davinchi as far as I know there’s no such limit on how many times you can cash out your reward points, hence you can do it multiple times without any issue. However I don’t think you’ll be making lots of money with it because to claim maximum 100 rewards points per hour you need to spend 1200 rewards points, and to earn profits you’ll have to put in more than 12 hours collecting it back. I too had this idea before but once I did the math I realised it would not make any sense to peruse it, but feel free to peruse it if you see the potential in it.

Is there any one in the forum don't know freebitco? Currently, Freebitco has 29 million users while bitcointalk has 2.7 million users. In my opinion, not only they don't need to spend money for a signature campaign, they can advertise other platforms on their website and earn money.
Knowing it and currently being aware of it are 2 different concepts.
Have you ever wondered why Coca-Cola is still advertising their business? Do you think they are afraid of losing their market share to Pepsi? Do you think they would be forgotten without the ads?
freebitco.in has a lambo lottery going on but not everybody is aware of that unless they are already visiting the website everyday. Lots of accounts created back in the day but I believe most of those accounts are passive right now.
It was just a suggestion. Maybe they are already making shitton and making a lot more won't really make a difference so they simply don't care probably.

Not to add to argument here but if you are active in this forum and check out a lot of the gambling threads then you know DarkStar and SyGambler are a few of those who are 100% in +EV. And that means clear profit.
Nope. Most of the bets I make are theoretically -EV and usually for fun now. Occasionally I find some +EV opportunities on FreeBitco.in or from promotions on sportsbooks and that's about it.
Being 100% in +EV doesn't mean clear profit either, it means that you're theoretically expected to profit in the long run. Variance can causes losses.
I believe I didn't say anything different than this yet we had a long debate over... nothing. You call it "variance", i call it "luck". Anyway I am not trying to go back there.

Is there a link to the code of your signature? It doesn't look as simple as the one that the website provides which is only one line red/green text. If I lose my current sig in the future I'd like to keep yours as a backup.
