I read some posts above and I noticed there is a discussion whether Freebitco is a pyramid scheme or not.
Any one think that freebitco or some similar gambling websites are Pyramid scheme, don't know what is a pyramid scheme.

You have nailed it here. To call any casino a pyramid scheme is to not understand what it means. A casino uses profits made from those who lose to pay those who win. A pyramid scheme is a fake investment that uses new investments to pay fictional profits to existing customers. There is no room to confuse the two.

Lmao. This the first time I have heard a gambling site viewed as a pyramiding scheme. There were already a lot of pyramiding scheme that were busted in the past years and most of them has not even for once mentioned a gambling company site. Pyramiding schemes promises you to earn more than 100% and above roi in less than a month or week ( take note : always earn) while gambling is very clear that you can win or lose playing the game so there is no such thing as confusion between the two.

I also don't know how the amount of bonus that users are eligible for is calculated. I tried to find something in the website, But I couldn't.

The amount of bonus you are eligible to claim is 1% of the amount wagered since completing your last bonus.

Due to the 5% house edge, the website will never lose even if they allow users to claim bonus as much as they have bitcoin on their balance. Maybe they want to encourage players to wager more before claiming bonus.

"the website will never lose" is a common misconception. We lose to some players and win to others. Given a large enough turnover variance of luck should be reduced enough to mean the website comes out on top but it is far from guaranteed. One thing that can be guaranteed is that if any site gives a +EV bonus it would be heavily exploited and they would go bust.

Is anyone here taking advantage of the 4% interest we can earn on our BTC?

I have started a new strategy where I am sending my BTC I earn from faucets over to FreeBitcoin to build up my BTC balance so that I can earn more from the 4% interest. By doing this I am risk free as I haven't put in my own BTC but only time spent on claiming from faucets. I started just a few weeks ago and have already built my balance up to close to 0.005. People say that faucets are a waste of time but that's how I got started and now I'm doing pretty good for myself all thanks to faucets. Even people can claim from Altcoin faucets and sell for BTC on exchanges and then have that BTC sent to FreeBitcoin to earn from the 4% interest.

This is somehow a deposit bonus like casino in which you need to make some wagered to get claim for it but need to finish whatever amount that you started. I do not know how they calculated it but still I only earn 0.028 by depositing a lot and by playing a lot as well. But still I can say it is not worth to claim and complete it anyway due to the house edge, let it stay there will be the best options, unless you are want to play it so bad and give a try to claim it then go ahead. Anyway you are lucky enough to have some affiliates here so you do need to play it hard to get some profit Cheesy

Yeah like freerolls where it tells you that if you deposit like 1 bitcoin they will give you another 1 bitcoin but you have to wager 40 bitcoins in total to claim that 1 bitcoin which is not really horrible and you may end up with some profits (this is gambling after all, the average means you will lose but that is the average) however they aim to make sure you lose all your money as well, just giving you some money to keep you there.

these types of deposit bonuses are scams in my opinion. and they always have ridiculous rules accompanying them, i even once saw one needing KYC for you to get that bonus out on top of having to play the game X number of times. all the sites offering such bonuses have been super shady too!

luckily this site (like most decent dice sites) doesn't have silly things like this...

kyc on a gambling site is now becoming popular ever since kyc on ico's and exchanges came out  so we can assume that they are normal and will always be required with or without the bonus

nothing about a KYC on a "cryptocurrency" oriented gambling site is normal!
they are not regulated, they don't have any license and they are not working with fiat. there is absolutely no need for any of them to have KYC which is only there for when they use fiat and have to comply with silly banking and government laws.
that is why none of the popular gambling sites have it. and anyone of them that did it, has become a failure.

Bonus here is much more realistic, it already has a high house edge as we all know so it doesn't really matter for them for the rollover so it is definitely more plausible than many other casinos. I never claimed it to be honest with you, don't know how much I have to deposit or play to be able to claim it but I have ton of affiliates so I rarely ever deposit.

This website makes money by giving people free money....
%4.08/year daily compounding ....
you can not categorize this annual profit on investments (that you receive every day) as the "free money" they give people because it is not free, it is the profit they give your investment in their business, which they mine bitcoin with part of it.

And once you start depositing money, you are starting to ask yourself "Why don't I deposit all? That's literally free money." (That's where shit gets dangerous for you Grin) That's probably true too (at least It has been for the last few years), as long as you stay away from that multiply game.  Wink
that is only true for gambling addicts not the normal people who use their brains Cheesy
i have had an investment in this site for a long time now and i haven't been playing the multiply game or losing anything for that time!

If all the people who deposited coins on this website had brains like you, you wouldn't be getting those sweet interest profits don't you agree?

Freebitco.in basically collects money from greedy dumb people and give it to less greedy smarter people.

This always works like this that you have to wager a lot more amount to become eligible to withdraw your bonus. As per your example, we do not need 40 BTC to wager 40 BTC. It can be achieved with 1 BTC or even less.
By the way, is there any new bonus option avaible on freebitco recently ?

It's a bonus more similar to bonuses on various other casinos where there's a wagering requirement (it's not just free money). If you want to play Hi-Lo, it might be worth taking if you were going to wager near the rollover amount anyway, but it is a -EV bonus (25x rollover with a 5% house edge) and you're expected to lose 25% of your stake.
Completely right.
Here I give an example to make it more clear.
I claim 1000 Satoshis. 1000 Satoshis will be deducted from my balance and I will have 2000 Satoshis on my bonus account.
If I play HI/LO game and I wager 1 Satoshi 1000 times, the house edge guarantee that I will lose 50 Satoshis. (In long term, it is 100% true and that's why I considered the amount of each bet only 1 Sathoshi).
To become eligible to withdraw my balance from my bonus account, I have to wager 1000*25= 25,000 Satoshi. So, I will lose 1250 Satoshis. So, I become eligible to send the entire balance from my bonus account to main account when I have only 750 Satoshis.

Thanks to both hosseinimr93 and DarStar_ for the responses.

In fact, I think its an even worse proposition then your example highlights as you have to bet through 25x then entire amount, not just your own contribution. If Im correct, it would mean you would expect (if allowed) to go into debt of 500 satoshis on average for every "succesful bet through attempt."

Ah well, nevermind, my instinct was in line with this but I wasnt confident about my calculations. Thanks again.

Good news about the NFL being added if it comes to pass.

Ive only recently started betting here so missed last season but I hope at least some NBA games get added, genuinely curious how the market will operate in a two outcome type event.

Also, due to the recent betting, I noticed that Ive qualified for a "bonus" on the multiply game of HI-LO. However, it appears that due to having to put an equal amount into the pot and having to bet through 25 times the total pot, it doesnt seem like much of a bonus at all.

Does anyone have any other insight on this or do I have it all correct and might as well leave it to accumulate?

Are any of you guys betting on 71st Primetime Emmy Awards? I bet on "Ted Danson in The Good Place"(current odds - 9.92) and on "The Good Place"(current odds - 18.46) in the section OUTSTANDING COMEDY SERIES, and on "Rachel Brosnahan in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel"(current odds - 4.65). This time I decided to bet not on what I think has more chances of winning, but rather on what I personally like. If I win just one bet out of my three bets, I'll be in profit because I placed equal amounts on each of them.

Maybe it's not that important, but I think there should be "in" instead of "on" in all of those inscriptions:

Does anybody know if theres any plans to add NFL and/or NBA games to the betting section?

The start times are known in advance and can be either handicapped or moneyline.
I can't read an answer to this question so I try to reply to the best of my knowledge. -snip-
The Quin answered a post with the same question just a few posts above you:

NBA didn't get much interest when we did it last year in the regular season and the play-offs are hard to do with 5 and 7 game series. We have to set the end time when we put the bet up so we have to stop taking bets at the earliest point it might be won.

I'll have a look at putting some NFL up next week to see how popular it is.
Perhaps, Basketball fans or Countries where basketball is the major sport aren't fans of Sports Betting and/nor Cryptocurrencies.
Football is about as famous as Basketball but in different Countries: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters

For NFL I have no idea if they add games or bet for the title.

For NBA I'm 100% sure they added a bet for the last finals between Golden State Warriors vs Toronto Raptors.
