I lost everything and was able to recover from Binance,Yobit, Coinbase, Xapo, Bitsler, Facebook, Bank, Email.
Unfortunately Freebitco does not do that, which is dubious for me.

you have to see Binance,Yobit,Bitsler, Coinbase, Xapo as your role model. The site is safe and if you lose the access then you will get back if you contact by email with Supporter contact.

Hey retard,  every one of those are KYC providers.  You can restore with those using just an ID.  This is an anonymous service (that does bad shit but not for the reasons you listed),  it doesnt have KYC because......... Its anonymous.  Duuuh.  Therefore you can never use those other services "models" for restoring and account.  Common sense dictates that if you didnt enter any KYC info,  you better have your shit together and clearly you do not.

Taking your own security seriously most definitely is for beginners. It is where everyone should start. We take our customers security very seriously which why we offer all the advanced features you could ever need to secure your account. It is also why we don't hand over accounts to potential phishing attacks and insist on a Bitcoin signed message from an address that can be linked to the account as proof of ownership.
I wholeheartly agree. If you are a newbie in bitcoin or crypto world than you need to first learn the most important thing in this space. Security. If you do not take your own security seriously than I can not think how many people will try to rip you off by doing as much as they can because stealing money from someones bank account or wallet on the street is dangerous and risky and would probably result in jail time most of the time but stealing someones crypto is not that dangerous for the person who steals it.

Take care of your own security and make sure you are at all times have the access to it with upmost features including 2fa, I had my phones screen broken for the past couple of weeks and I have used my wife's phone for 2fa in the past weeks just to make sure I stay on top of things, never let go of your crypto for even a second because its incredibly important to keep an eye on it.

I think this applies to anyone who wants to go online and connect to other computers and other people. Does not even really apply only to Bitcoin/Crypto users.

Also, what does apply to Bitcoin/crypto users is that they need to understand the difference between crypto and all other forms of digital money. Everything we have ever used before needed a username and password and someone to take care of it for us. Crypto is different slightly.

Education is key, even to use faucets and gambling sites. What is the point of 2FA if your phone has no password and can be hijacked by everyone?

2fa has a lot of sense, only if you can restore synonymous. Of course I was stupid and did not write or find my secretkey anymore. and now you can not restore. it only has no meaning at freebitco. It looks like fraud. and the only excuse is safety. in other side I could restore everything.

This post was first made in 2013 and then reopened in 2018 and I would ask if the contest is no longer on its should probably be lock down by the moderators to avoid spamming

Errr, you what?Huh

The thread has been active since 2013 and the title change referring to our wagering contest is fairly recent. Maybe you could do some research before spamming suggestions like that.

They're still holding the 30 grand prize in wagering and referral contests.

If you opted in their email sub, you get this like once a week.

Very hard to win big prize  Embarrassed

As it should be.  Roll Eyes  Imagine if it was much easier, then this site would not make any profit, because they have millions of registered users.  Roll Eyes   They have to make a living too, so your odds of winning large prizes, should be small for them to be able to host this site and to continue offering these rewards/prizes.  Tongue

I have been with this faucet/gambling site for MANY years and I have never won the highest prize in the faucet or any one of the Lotto prizes or a massive win on the multiplayer.  Roll Eyes

Does only 2 exist or the owner has more websites for others coins?

AFAIK, only 2. Let Quin or wetsuit confirm this.

That's right, freebitco.in and freedoge.co.in at the moment but keep watching as there may be some expansion eventually.

Did anyone win Lotto prize on freebitco.in??i had many tickets couple of times but never lucky still some tickets collect for today Cheesy.
Personally, I'm not lucky person and still haven't won. But if you check previous pages of Freebitco.in Bitcointalk threads you can find some people sharing proofs that they won in this lottery.

I've lost count but quite a few winners have posted in our threads. There's another thread just about the lottery as well. As it is a lottery with hundreds of millions of tickets and only 10 winners each week you really should not be that surprised that you have never won. We do show you your percentage chance of winning on the lottery page.

I don't understand how losing your phone can prevent you from accessing or restoring your access to a site as losing a phone is not equal to losing your phone number.
Unfortunately, I'm stupid and have my cellphone number not registered.
he said, as quoted above, he didn't register it... slim/no chance of reclaiming his cellphone number

I lost everything and was able to recover from Binance,Yobit, Coinbase, Xapo, Bitsler, Facebook, Bank, Email.
Unfortunately Freebitco does not do that, which is dubious for me.

and all providers have used the same email as in Freebitco.
Why did you not back up your 2fa secret key? Why did you not set a recovery telephone number? Why can't you recover 2fa from email? Why did you not set your profile bitcoin address to a wallet you can sign a message from?
@bitmaster88 if you used same email then I assume you can still (or regain) access to your email?
have you tried TheQuin's suggestion on recovering 2fa from email?

I tried several times and it does not work. it always indicates that:

Sorry, your 2FA cannot be reset now because your last login city is different from your current city. Please try to reset your 2FA from the same internet connection that you last used the website from.

I was never in the same place and was always online with the phone. You can not restore via email either. Of course somebody who understands me thanks.

Noob question, freedoge.in is owned by the same owner of freebitco.in? They seems identical one with dogecoin the other one with bitcoins.

Yup, here's the thread:

also beginners have a chance and binance and coinbase helped me a lot after i lost my 2fa because of kappute handy. but freebitco does not want to help me. freebitco your system is like an offline btc wallet. if you do not have the key then you have nothing left. what happens to paid-in bitcoin? does this belong to freebitco? if you are smart then you know immediately that I'm the real owner, since my account in freebitco for 2 years not logged in.

it is a pity, you have confidence in this site and then you are fooled because you have made a mistake. I am glad that other lottery side are not so.
