41 tickets is lucky but did they enter similarly every week for a decade or somehow manage this just registering this year.  If its a long term user I dont mind their excessive luck, it was earned with time more then anything else.  If they just walked in the door then paint me green, Im jealous :p so unfair lol

The BTC price is struggling to pass 25k which is the confluence of 200 week and 52 week averages, theres a few reasons its a hard hill to climb.  If we do not surmount this obstacle then it could repeat the range observed previously despite doing so well recently, unfortunate.   For this month,  the best guess for end day price would be here or lower thats more probable then not I'd guess.   A pullback and retry is still bullish but would appear to require more time, see if it can resolve its hesitancy in short order or not.
that's why I'm not very interested in buying a lot of lottery tickets to win the weekly ticket lottery prize, just by doing free spins every hour I can get a lottery ticket and it's collected, even though I'm unlucky I still hope next week can be lucky, after all the person holding 41 ticket is a lucky guy, so I don't really envy him

BTW it looks like the price of BTC will always be bullish until the next halving

Possible, but I'd be guessing, that if they were to go that route, they would first announce that the exchange rate for reward points is now variable and depends on BTC price, so it would go down progressively rather than jumping straight from 1 sat to 0.5 sats.
The RP exchange rate depends on BTC price.
The exchange rate has been 1 sat/RP for a long time because there are only 8 decimal places for bitcoin and the value of each RP can't be less than 1 satoshi.

Each reward point is worth 3.75% of the base reward. (Click here to see the old post made by TheQuin.)
As the base reward is $0.002, each RP should be worth $0.000075. This means that each RP should worth around 0.3 satoshi now.

But be careful, the road to 1M RPs is really long, and once you reach this mark, there are serious risks bitcoin will be on a much higher price range, what can consequently make freebitco.in's staff team to reduce the currently exchange rate of 1 RP : 1 satoshi to something like 1 RP : 0,5 satoshi.

But that's just speculation.

I’m getting very close to 200k RP’s and wish to continue my quest of reaching 1000k RP. If conditions are favourable by that time then I might just convert them to Satoshi. However, it is still my imagination. It’s gonna take years to achieve that level and convert.
That is a very impressive achievement, congratulations!

Also, these RPs could be already generating daily interest if converted to BTC.
I would guess that even if they somehow do that, which I doubt they would, they would give a heads up, meaning they would give people a chance to cash out before that happens, like at least a week long waiting period, maybe a month. Considering he has 200k already which is above 100k encashing limit, that means if something like that ever happens, he will be able to cash out before anything changes and he will be able to just get out.

Since there is no talks about something like that happening right now, and I think price reached 68k and was still 1 rp to 1 satoshi, that means we still have a long way to go before team would ever consider changing anything.

Exactly !!!

If I were at this place I would simply exchange the RPs to satoshi once I reach the minimum target of 100k RP.
One thing which is obvious is that freebitco.in would not increase the exchange limit but it may or may not decrease the exchange limit as you have mentioned.
Example: It may become 1 RP = 0.75 sats or 0.5 sats but they wont increase it to 1 RP = 1.5 sats

So it's better to exchange it now while the exchange limit is reasonably well and enjoy the 4% APY on it.
Even if Flexystar exchanges it on regular intervals of 100 RP it will just be 10 times that he will have to do it.

The lottery is real gamble on freebitcoin. I have literally disabled it after couple of years tries since it’s not my thing anyways. So many rounds in two years and in between I have also tried to wager more than enough to get 50-60k lottery tickets. When I entered the freebitcoin it was actually my thing, I kept myself motivated a lot and tried to get as much lottery tickets as I could. Anyways, I have disabled it due to no luck or it’s just my type of gambling anymore.

This is why I have diverted my focus on accumulating more RP and Sats by free roll plus multiply wager. I never miss 4x promotions and will try to multiply more between those hours. That is something relaxes me.

In fact there should be option to remove Lottery wins from WOF and instead gain more RP and Sats.  Tongue

I know that’s not possible since it will imbalance the whole WOF and freebitcoin revenue. For now lottery not my thing. Just seeing how people are lucky to win even with 40-50 tickets.

I changed pretty quickly to receiving more RP instead of lottery tickets for every free roll as the RP are a lot more interesting. It would be great if you could only win RP or satoshis as the WOF (or exchange the lottery tickets for RP) but they never do that as it will not be affordable anymore for them. Personally I like lotteries and the result of last week also shows that with a minimum amount on tickets you can already win!

The randomness is key here, out of 50.000.000 users and someone with just 41 tickets goes and win the big prize,I can't tell you that I am not jealous of such winnings,oh boy I am  Grin as there has been several years now I am always having over 2000 tickets as a minimum and I never see my ID there,at first I got sad and bored but then I understand that everything is based on luck and me with luck, well we have a platonic love so far it seems.

I think if I look back, especially on my personal stats, I guess there's not that much RPs wasted from freerolls. Even if you rolled 20,000 times, that's 40k RP, not really much at all. So I guess I'll still inisist to keep the tickets, thinking my turn will come in a big way, it's really weird how the mind works!

On the one hand, it is disappointing, and it seems unfair that someone with only 41 tickets managed to win a prize in the lottery while you with 80k tickets won nothing. On the other hand, you shouldn't be surprised by this because lottery winners are determined randomly. In addition, if you look at the total number of tickets in that round, you'll notice that your chance of winning something was only 0.46%, and that's obviously very low.

Duh, I know how it works, dude. I'm just sharing and commenting on the disappointment with myself, and laughing it off. No need to explain "lottery winners are determined randomly". If people are using this site and active on this section of the forum for years, and still can't understand that, then we shouldn't be here.

I wish guys like you would stop pointing out, as you yourself say, the obvious  Roll Eyes

Damn. What a round of lottery, 2 winners there pocketing with such small amounts. In that list, only 2 people had more tickets than me too, so I'm feeling pretty disappointed with myself lol.

I had almost 80k tickets, hehe you can blame the 4xRP rewards for that which came 2 in a row, but the RP itself was nice I guess, along with a few more spare GTs!
maybe you just haven't been lucky, 2 weeks ago almost the winners were the owners of a lot of tickets up to millions, now almost out of 10 winners some are only holders of fewer tickets, maybe that's what is called a fair system. congrats to the winners, hope all get a chance to win those weekly lottery prizes

This may not have a direct effect on freebitco but this will have a bad impact in the overall crypto which can then affect them because their users might consider saving their Bitcoins for a while than spending/betting it because its value is still dumping.
How can such a thing have such a bad impact on all crypto including Bitcoin.
Precisely if the user considers saving Bitcoin more than spending or using it as a bet, it will be able to make the price of bitcoin or other crypto stable and the use or trading of Bitcoin will not affect the price of Bitcoin or even other crypto.
Because in my opinion this problem will only have a bad impact on freebitcoin not on other things related to cryptocurrency.
Such events can have negative impacts on bitcoin and all services and products attached to it somehow, because bad news can discourage investors from continuing their investments in cryptocurrencies, especially now because US investors won't be able to stake anymore. There are serious risks the market faces a fall in prices and demand. Platforms like freebitco.in are indirectly affected, although bets' traffic must remain the same, since gamblers aren't worried about market's fluctuations. They place their bets pegged to costs in dollar.
I am guessing that "bad news" could, but this isn't bad news about crypto, this is bad news for kraken that's it, and maybe coinbase if they offer something like that. General crypto will not be any way or shape impacted by this, and freebitco.in will not be affected by this at all, it is something super simple for them, they are not based in usa, so they do not care.

When you are not bound by the laws of different nations, you can just ignore them and do what you do, and we are doing as well as we could hope for with interest here anyway, it's definitely good. I hope it continues and they don't stop because of this news, that would be bad but otherwise this is nothing.

We still have plenty of time till Oscars, and I'm waiting for the betting options for this event on FreeBitco.in as well. In previous years we used to have many categories to bet on. I don't remember how many, but more than 5, I'm sure. It's been always one of my favourite kinds of betting, because I love watching good movies, and there are always many of really good movies among Oscar nominations.

To tell the truth, I always lose some money when betting on Oscars. I'm never in profit from this, but it's so entertaining that I will never stop betting on the Academy Awards. I might lose several bucks, but the fun is worth it. Hopefully, we'll get it on FreeBitco.in this year.

I remembered the time during the Will Smith fiasco, there were some comments that mentioned almost everyone forgot or couldn't give a toss about the Oscars until it happened.

And I remember the film Parasite (2019) winning in the Best Picture category, and the odds for this film on FreeBitco.in were above 3.00. I didn't win my bet back then, because I bet on fkn Joker, although I loved Parasite, and still love it. I just couldn't imagine that the world was so fair that such a great movie could win. Apparently, I was wrong. Smiley ...

But since neither @freebitco.in PR, nor @TheQuin are replying to our requests about the option of betting on Oscars, I'm starting to think that there will be no such option this year.
