I wonder if Saudi Arabia(3.63) will play again one more good game, against Poland (1.42). Until now, many 'good teams' lost and many 'weaker' teams are proud of their success (Saudi Arabia, Japan etc), their morale is really high and we may expect many good games. Which means I strongly consider betting on "weaker" teams.
@PawGo usually I expect one or two upsets in such big tournaments, but the number of upsets we seen so far is surreal and it just makes me wonder if we’ll see team’s like Saudi Arabia, Japan and Iran progressing ahead as I wasn’t really expecting them to qualify for the next round. Furthermore England’s draw shows that they’re yet not reliable, hence I would advise caution against wagering on them unless they manage to show some improvement in their form.
I think Japan is a sure thing progressing ahead if they manage to win against Costa Rica this win puts them at 6 points. Now if Germany is not able to win against Spain put them in a very dangerous position and thus they need an absolute win against Spain because any other result it will lead them out,of course considering a Japan win against Costa Rica.Spain has everything in their control and even a draw against Germany would still leave them in the position to decide if they will be 1st or 2nd of the group through the last game against Japan.
For surprises yesterday Netherlands and England drawing says it all for me.
