This will be an interesting one to answer for #TheQuin, because Freebitco.in is kind of incognito... for the lack of a better word. They might pay some people to do things for them, but it will not be on the books.
In a regulated environment... businesses have to pay taxes on salaries and they have to operate within specific tax guidelines and things like unemployment benefits ...etc. (So, if you want to work for them, you will have to be paid in bitcoin ..with zero benefits..like a freelancer)
I don't know where you get those ideas from. I wasn't going to reply because you don't apply for these types of jobs, they come to you.
Just because Bitcoin gaming is an unregulated sector it doesn't mean that everything involving taxes isn't above board.
