I wonder if it would be too much to open a "Request a next bet" type of thing where we can enter our vote in a poll, and if the poll counts the most popular vote, that becomes the next bet? Maybe something done every 24 hours automatically, would that be too hard to do in a script?

You're right. There's just wetsuit when it comes to running nodes and wallets and running an altcoin can be much more than doubling the work of running a Bitcoin node.

I think they learnt some lessons from hosting the Dodge coin faucet and it will be counter productive for them to open the platform for other Alt coins, because they do not want to create another use case for Alt coins to thrive, when they want people to buy their new token.  

This does not look like a very large operation, with loads of support people that are available 24/7 .... so just imagine if you add 20 extra Alt coins and the support are flooded with additional Alt coin issues.

Even though it's only BTC as an option on FB, they already have 42 million users, however adding altcoins still a good choice.

Is it just me or the bets are just 3? Bets on BTC price, bets on ETH price, and Fun token price. That three are the only ones that are on the betting section as far as I can see, there is nothing more? I thought with the leagues getting closer to an end there would be more football and F1 is right around the corner again so maybe that would be another one as well. I guess they will be added on a later date but having them quicker on the table would be a lot better if we could do that.

I can't say that which one would be better first, but all of them look like they would be great if we could add them. Personally I would love to have F1 as quickly as possible, with Mercedes proving that they are still ahead of everyone else, I want to wager on Lewis Hamilton all over again, make p for that one loss that he (and I had) this season.

TheQuin already explained why a hacker would gamble with your money way better than I ever could. By the time you notice your account got compromised your coins might already be all gambled away and it would be nice to have another layer of security to protect yourself from that scenario.

And where did I say I don't want people to gamble? People can gamble their butt off for all I care, as long as they do it with money they can afford to lose. As my total balance is 1000 times my base bet, I can lose the bets up to 10 times in a row.

Let's calculate how much is the probability of winning the bets 1000 times without hitting 10 losses in a row.

(1 - 0.525¹⁰)¹⁰⁰⁰ = 0.203 = 20.3%

As calculated above, the chance has decreased to 20.3% from 47.5%

What if I set the base bet amount to 0.001 mBTC instead of 1 mBTC?
In this way, I can lose the bets up to 20 times in a row.

If I do this, I will decrease my chance even more.

(1 - 0.525²⁰)^1000000 = 0.079 = 7.9%
