I haven't gambled on that price, I haven't gambled in bitcoin price prediction for a veeeeeery long time actually, I haven't even see the results for years, I did it during the first period it was offered but I just realized that it was something impossible to guess. If I was someone who could predict the price of bitcoin 10 days beforehand, I would have been rich by just trading bitcoin anyway so I just assumed I will never be capable of predicting the price correctly and stopped.

However if you ask me, even though I have no profit from this, nobody should be punished just because you made a typo, it is your mistake and it is totally understandable that you made a mistake, everyone can, it still shouldn't be problem for the people who took that bet. I think they should at least get their money back the very least.

I'd claimed some free rolls for days till I had a balance of about 70K sats, then I went into the multiply rolls and got lucky. Successively I hit some big wins on my rolls, it was so amazing. Dizzying at times, at other times it felt unreal. My stacks kept growing each time I rolled, so, I was like, "are you sure this thing ain't broken? Will they really pay out when I decide to request a payment?"

I think at some point, though, it appears someone up there in their office read my mind and my balance began to reduce with more and more losing streaks. From a high of over 0.09 BTC it fell to 0.04 BTC. I quit and withdrew my loot to other endeavors.

Even then it is really unpredictable what price Bitcoin will take. Even the expert traders who provide TAs also make mistakes, how can we just rely on predictions? You will only be confused as to what you will do. The others who have already speculated that they will expect to hit $ 20K again by the end of this month are also confused. However, we are still in a gamble so no matter what our bet is, it will just remain a gamble. Maybe only the big ones are betting and hoping to really win.

The time weight multiplier is a little bit misleading your 30.0 X means that you will receive 1.3 times what you wagered (BTC 0.01 X 1.3 = BTC 0.013) with the outcome of 4.5 giving an end result of BTC 0.0585.

Having said that however, the outcome odds will fluctuate until betting is closed - if you're quoting the after closing odds (and you bet on Joe Biden) then you should pick up BTC 0.0585 in the near future.

I was quoting the odds when I placed the bet. I'm not familiar with time weighted bets, more with bookies offering fixed odds.

The closing odds were 1.99 for Joe Biden. So my winnings are roughly 0.01*1.3*1.99= 0.02587. I expected something like 0.023 still not bad. Thanks.

The final odds of 4.5 are difficult to win. It is not impossible of course. What are the statistical odds that you will win a bet with odds of around 4.5? Is that somewhere around 15-20%?
I wouldn't bet on such odds myself. Of the other chance, if you win then it is equal x 4.5
Especially with large amounts it goes fast. Not yet really 0.01.
