Marseille managed to beat the host Toulouse in last night's match. Toulouse took the lead quickly through Dallinga's goal in the 3rd minute until the first half ended. But in the second half, Marseille immediately responded with 3 goals from Mbemba, Under and Tavares. Toulouse had wanted to catch up with the score but they could only score 1 additional goal from Onaiwu. With this result the score ended 2-3 in favor of Marseille and at the same time got 3 full points to continue to squeeze PSG at the top of the standings.

Toulouse have only lost to PSG in their last seven matches in the French Ligue 1. They had a really good performance, but Marseille have a better performance than them this season. Also, we have to say that Tudor has taken the team to a very good level this season. If they had made a few more good transfers, maybe they could have competed better with PSG. In this match, they conceded an early goal and fell behind, but they overwhelmed their opponents with effective players such as Sanchez and Tavares. Especially the goal scored by Cengiz Ünder was worth seeing. He scored a great goal.

Every match is very important for Marseille now. Because losing a point in a match in Marseille will reduce their chances of winning the title. Also, they have to lose second place in the points table. Monaco is only 2 points behind Marseille. And Lens is 3 points behind. And so losing a point in any match in Marseille will not allow them to finish second in the table. Ligue 1 has been very competitive this season. Several teams are fighting for the title. PSG's performances have not been consistent and they have dropped points in several matches. As a result, they are not able to dominate Ligue 1. There is also a possibility that PSG will not champion this season.
Even though they haven't been able to be consistent, what Marseille has done this season is still in a good category. Not only are Marseille inconsistent, Paris Saint Germain, who are the biggest favorites to win, often lose their balance which makes them slip several times. I don't know what happened, but indeed all the teams in the top 4 did the same thing, that is, they often failed to score points consistently. On the one hand this is a weakness for them, on the other hand this makes the competition even tougher.

Neymar assist and goal, Mbappe on the scoresheet, damn you Lille, couldn't you just make this league stretch on for a bit? Second half still to come but the game looks done and dusted for now. Fonseca should have kept his mouth shut about this being the best in the world heh heh.

Not really trusting any of the other teams but I've got Monaco, Marseille and Nantes on my next tickets, let's see if they can do their part today.

It is not over yet. Just opened up a soccer news website and saw that Neymar has a couple of scandals going on. Partying all night, eating at McDonald's, playing Poker. I mean I don't care, he is free to do whatever he wants, but the fans obviously don't like it very much when you just lost another game in the CL and then behave like that. Mbappe asked his team mates to eat and sleep well and perhaps in response to that Neymar posted fotos of eating at McDonald's and playing poker. I wonder whether he would also do that when his coach would be Guardiola or Klopp or Mourinho.
It was really a great match for PSG. PSG's performance hasn't improved much since, conceding three goals against such a lesser team. Although PSG managed to score three goals, if not for Lionel Messi's extraordinary goal in the last minute of the game, this match of PSG would have been a draw.

Yes that is something Galtier obviously can't manage to get fixed. Conceding three goals in a home game and frequently conceding one or two goals anyway is just too much for a team that claims to be a Champions League favorite.

The good thing is that even Ligue 1 is now a bit more interesting. The bad thing is that it is shocking to see a team like PSG still being under pressure after almost two thirds of the season are played. What strikes me as odd as well is that Mbappe kind of thinks he is the best in the world, but when Haaland can score 26 goals in 24 games in the Premier League, how does Mbappe only score 15 goals in 24 games? I would say that with the team Mbappe has around him he should have scored much more than that. When he scores, it is always amazing to watch, there is really no doubt about that. But I still think that a player like Mbappe should score more especially in Ligue 1.

This week there seems to be more attention with the comeback that Paris Saint Germain made when they beat LOSC. They managed to turn things around and prevent defeat when the rest of the match was hanging in the balance. Yes they are really amazing to be able to do that. I thought Paris Saint Germain would lose, but in the 87th minute Kylian Mbappe equalised, and Messi became LOSC's killer executioner in the 90+ minute.

After the 24th week, there has been no change in the Ligue 1 standings. A change in the points gap could almost have occurred if Paris Saint-Germain had not made an extraordinary comeback in the final minutes of the game. Lionel Messi became the actor in their victory in that match by scoring an extra time goal and allowing Paris Saint-Germain to turn things around to 4-3. Lens won the match again after the last few bad results they always got.
Paris Saint-Germain is a great team.  There are great players in the offensive zone, but I think they've been struggling defensively lately.  It was the individual efforts of Lionel Messi that saved Paris in this match.  Paris Saint-Germain added 3 points to the team with a perfect free-kick goal in extra time.  At the end of 24 weeks, they are about to win the championship again.

After concesitive three defeat against Marseille, Monaco and Bayern Munich they finally got success to win the crutial match of league 1. I taught that they will lose this match too because LOSC Lille dominate the strong PSG lineup in overall statistics of the match, PSG were behind from Lille in position as well as they done more passes then them which mean they have fully control on game but kilyan mbappe and Lionel Messi show his magic and took the game away from mouth of Lille win. This victory worth more for Paris because if they lose it the second team on league will be just 2 point away from them.

Fantastic win for PSG.  They had an extra three points but they lost Neymar, it looks like he injured his ankle
In addition to Neymar Nuno Mendes also injured his diligament. It was quite happy to see this match, as LOSC were able to turn things around and get ahead before PSG returned to win until time ran out. Messi's free-kick is also very good, PSG deserved to win. But the extra time seems to be very long so it seems like this is funny.

As for the extra time the referee who was officiating this game gave, he must have known what he was doing, so I don't find this kind of thing funny in a game.
Paris Saint Germain must be grateful because they were able to turn things around when the rest of the match was not long away. The players who played should be appreciated because they kept trying until the referee really blew the long whistle signaling the end of the match. Imagine if they complained when they entered the last 10 minutes, they would never have scored those 2 goals.

I agree, it is about 5-point gap between PSG and Marseille who are in first and second respectively.
The PSG and Marseille rivalry was highly expected on matchday 25 as the two won a tough 24th match each. These two teams really struggled to secure 3 points in their last matches and I think that is very draining of energy. The next game is expected to be tight, but I think PSG are the favorites as usual.

I hope that Messi and Mbappe's performances are good enough to be maintained in matchday 25. They have had enough problems in defense, but the productivity of goals from the two has helped PSG win 3 points in an important match. I will not consider PSG to lose, meaning I believe PSG will secure another 3 points at home of Marseille as well.
I don't know how PSG's mood is, but I have a feeling that there are many problems, it is speculated that they are negotiating Ney and now more than he is injured, it is not known if it was due to Chelsea or City, it is a fact that they want to throw him out , Mbappé has finally achieved what he wanted for more than a year and that is to throw him out of the team, what I sense is that if Ney leaves, it is most likely that Messi will also leave because Messi does not want the same thing to happen to him as he did to him. Barcelona, and Mbappé cannot do much because they know that Messi is far above him, the fact that he is world champion protects him from many attacks, PSG cannot afford to be given very bad comments about Messi.
I don't really care about Neymar's future at PSG, he should have moved sooner rather than staying longer in Paris.
It could be Chelsea or another Premier League team, that doesn't matter to me. PSG may be ready to let Neymar go next season, but I don't think it's because of the bad relationship with Mbappe. Messi may be on the verge of leaving, but I think he has found a good rhythm in Paris since his second season and is happy there.

PSG's situation might be more difficult if Neymar and Messi leave in the same season (next season), but because this team has good money power, they will have no problem finding a reliable striker afterwards.

Nothing has really changed, but if PSG still make mistakes like when they played against Lille, then we can be sure we will see real competition in the Ligue 1 standings soon. In week 25, PSG will face Marseille, this is a match between ranked 1st and 2nd, there will be high tension in this match. If PSG win here later, they will make up the distance again with a difference of 8 points. But if they lose, then their distance from Marseille is only 2 points.

Christophe Galtier insists Neymar's ankle injury was not 'bad luck'

Quote
Neymar was stretchered off early in the second half of PSG's chaotic 4-3 victory over Lille, having already scored and provided an assist, and has since been diagnosed with a sprained ankle.

Scans on Neymar's injury 'did not reveal any fracture', according to a club statement.

“This is not bad luck,” Galtier said when asked an update on Neymar's condition. “There are always reasons for injuries - the schedule, the sequence of games. It is never random. He is being examined to know the severity of his sprain.

“Of course, it complicates things and that’s the way it is. We have to keep our heads down. We’re going to do it again, but with a victory. That is more pleasant.”

What a nice comeback from psg team today in the last minutes of the game that was a tough and fun game we witnesed today against lille, mbappe and messi played a huge role in today win, these three points will keep them seven points clear in the lead.

That was a good game and a well-earned point for Marseille, who can't afford to lose points at this moment because Monaco is only 2 points behind them and closing in on them. Even though PSG appears to have a five-point lead, they cannot afford to let Monaco, who also won their game, take second place. If they continue to have a winning attitude, they can yet catch up to PSG because the league is still open and anyone can still contend for the trophy. PSG's defense is still an issue, and the midfield is also unstable, but I believe their attack is something other, and it will be challenging to defend against that dangerous trio.
But it looks like the PSG trio will not be available in the nearest game as Neymar picked up an ankle injury against Lille yesterday and it looks like he will be out for two weeks. Of course it will be a tough homework for coach Galtier to arrange the composition of his players. On the other hand, PSG has a target to continue to widen the distance, but Marseille and Monaco are indeed in good form and PSG's position could be shifted by one of these teams.

What a great epic comeback yesterday night from Marseille. When I saw first the score in the first half 2-0 for Toulousse I thought this was it and Marseille to finally come to losing a game after their recent form which is impressive at the moment. This win adds more confidence to them and boost their moral for the upcoming games while PSG face a difficult if not impossible task ahead in the Champions League which in turn maybe a great moment for Marseille to profit and move even more forward to put more pressure to Paris for the title. Now we are again in a competitive Ligue 1 and 5 points difference is something that can be taken from PSG if they will suffer a defeat in the Champions League encounter they have.

Toulouse 2-3 Marseille

Marseille players played well against Toulouse. Marseille won this match 3-2. Toulouse was not the weak opponent. Moreover, in this match too Toulouse players tried their best to win. But Marseille did not make any mistakes in this match. After trailing 1-0 in the first half, Marseille managed to score three consecutive goals in the second half.

Both PSG and Marseille won their last matches. PSG is now only 5 points ahead of Marseille. And so PSG is not in the safe zone yet. PSG must play well in the upcoming matches. Winning the title this season is not easy for PSG.

PSG vs Lille OSC won the match but PSG won in a very shocking way.  Kylian Mbappe scored a goal within 11 minutes of the match and Neymar scored another shortly after to give the team a 2-0 lead.  But Lille OSC scored three goals in a row to keep the team on top until the 69th minute with the goal difference at 2-3.  Kylian Mbappé scored twice to draw the game 3–3, and after 90 minutes of play, Lionel Messi headed home with a kick from just in front of the box in extra time 4-3 Goal.  Despite having a world-famous star, the win was a shocker for PSG.

This match showed that PSG's defense is still very weak this season. At the same time, if their attacking three players Messi, Neymar and Mbappe play well, they can beat any team. In this match we saw excellent performances from the trio of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar. If the chemistry of this trio is good then they can beat any team. And if PSG perform like this against Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League, then their chances of victory are high. But they need to strengthen their defense.
PSG's unorganized game made it a little difficult for them, indeed PSG was able to win but in terms of team performance I think they are still lacking and only relying on the trio of Messi, Neymar and also Mbappe is not enough to become a strong team.
PSG's victory was inseparable from the good performance of their front lines, especially the big contribution of Messi, who scored the decisive goal at the end of the game.

and if you look at PSG's game I think they have to improve a lot at the back and midfield to face Bayern in the second leg later.
the match against Lille OSC was again an example that their back line and midfield played quite badly, statistically the results of the PSG team's play were only their front line which received a high rating.
PSG have a difficult time at the moment as they will soon be playing their return leg against Bayern in the Champions League. Complicating matters is the fact that PSG have had no competition in Ligue 1 in the past, but the race for first place has recently begun. If Marseille and Monaco don't lose and lose points in their next games, with PSG's current unstable play, one of them will be able to get to the top of the standings.
