Thomas Tuchel won two league titles and took PSG to the Champions League finals. PSG's case is a clear indication that spending big is not the only pathway to winning the Champions League. The team has been built around three players which makes it difficult for them to cope with the absence of any of them.

Pep Guardiola has informed Manchester City that he would leave the club if it is confirmed that he was lied to. And I support his decision because the club deceived him. Moving to PSG might be a good option considering his class and cost. But his arrival wins do not still guarantee that PSG will win the Champions League because he has even failed to deliver the trophy to his Manchester City.

you are right This match was less important than other matches for PSG. The main goal of PSG players in this match was to avoid injuries. And so we don't see any player in the team in an attacking mood. Every player played very carefully. Especially between Messi and Neymar I saw less tendency to attack. This is why Galtier did not comment on the performance of the players in this match. Ligue 1 and Champions League matches are more important for them than this match. I would say, if PSG wins against Bayern Munich, Christopher Galtier will be worth it.

This week has been the busiest week for the top 4 teams in the standings. Each of them had quite difficult matches and my focus is probably only on the Monaco vs PSG match. We know that the absence of Mbappe and Messi in that match can reduce the threat to their opponents and Monaco can use this well to score goals in the match later. I also have an opinion that it is likely that PSG will lose this match and their distance from several competing teams is around 5 points, in my opinion that is good enough and they can focus more on the next match in the UCL competition against Bayern Munich later.

I think you are not right too. Mbappe can not bring PSG to victory if he does not have good team-mates like Messi and Neymar in the front line. In many matches, without Messi and / or Neymar, Mbappe lost most of his dangerous attacking ability. It is more than evidence that he needs good attacking mates to show his best.

Although I disagree with you about Mbappe contribution and ability to decide matches, I agree with you that Messi and Neymar as well as PSG in general needs Mbappe or a good striker to maximize their attacking power.

@Altruist as per the reports I read it says that it’ll take at least 4 year’s for Premier League to sanction them, hence till then Pep has no reason to walk away from the club. Furthermore even by the end of the hearings the court may find them not guilty, hence PSG won’t get Pep immediately unless Pep decides to quit due to any personal reasons.

The absence of mbappe was giving a very big impact on the performance of club. Messi has been getting some cricism about his performance with PSG. Galtier didn't give any comment about the bad performance of PSG against marseille. The result from last match against marseille has been also destroying a good record that has been achieved by messi. PSG needs mbappe to go back again. The match against bayern will come very soon. Losing against marseille is not a problem as long as PSG will not lose against bayern.
Mbappe has been also making a statement that he will be leaving PSG if PSG loses to bayern.
