PSG made me really worried after Navas got a red card and their opponent Nantes scored the equalizer in around ten minutes. But they were still the PSG we know and they would still be able to destroy Nantes. And that was what they did after. Appiah's own goal came in only five minutes and Messi scored his first ever goal in the Ligue 1 six minutes after that. And this finished Nantes' hopes about getting a point here. Messi's goal was really delightful though.
Messi at last scores his first Ligue 1 goal against Nantes, the important thing is that it was neither tap-in nor from penalty. Messi helped 10 man PSG go from 1-1 to a 3-1 win. This is just signaling better days ahead, he generally begins the season gradually then the proceeds to be the best player.
Not yet maybe next match Messi stuck and can't make any goal again, I appreciated with Messi success make first goal for PSG on Ligue 1 but he still make little goal so far for PSG on Ligue 1 or champion league, not any contribution from Messi without make goal or assist because he is star player and success make many goal for Barcelona on La Liga with most competitive league than Ligue 1.

Metz make a great comeback even though they are one man down, it was unexpected for the bottom team. Bordeaux is in big trouble now because they are also very close to relegation zone. After two goals lead they conceded two goals in five minutes. There is still extra time but it looks like both teams are settled for draw. Metz should be happy about that because it's very hard thing to do, coming from behind with ten men. They are still in the last place though.

PSG now is 12 points far from its closest follower, Rennes, after 14 rounds. Wonder know if PSG could lift the title before 10 rounds..
It is very possible if PSG can win all matches at least 11 match in a row from now on, but with the record of the team in second place not having enough point to affect PSG's position as the leader of the table. The difference of 12 point mean that Rennes only has the opportunity to overtake PSG if they are able to win 4 match in a row while PSG must lose 3 match in a row. I think it will be very unlikely for PSG this season because we all know they deserve to be king of France this season.

I never imagined that Lens would lose to a small team like Brest and concede 4 goals. In this match I was basically betting for Lens to win. They disappointed me. By conceding 4 goals, they proved just how weak their defense is. At the same time Lens could not score any goal in this match. They have possession the ball more but could not score any goal. Brest's defender and striker have both played great.
This weekend is being fantastic in every league lol. Many favourites teams lost to easier ones or even those in the relegation zone and Lens luck wasn't better..

What an enexpected result lens are losing 4 0 against brest with a 3 0 score on the first half even when they seemed in control of the situation brest team manhed to score 3 goals with 3 shots on target they were really effective, with this result lens are still in third place but they risk to lose their position in favor of nice and marseille.

PSG had plenty of chances in 1st half and could close the game by scoring 3 or 4 goals but Messi and Neymar waisted all of them. only after Nantes equalizer PSG realized that they should use their chances properly.

I think the top news in media this weekend won't be Bayern or ManU shamefull defeat but Messi scoring finally a goal in Ligue 1! BTW even Navas attempts to get a red card was fantastic Roll Eyes
but this is his first goal in Ligue 1 which indicate that he is starting to adapt well to his team-mates.
it doesn't just show that he's starting to adapt with the team, it also removes a lot of weight off his back, he was getting replaced by the coach several times in the 2nd half but he showed that he can make an impact in the match at anytime, he caused a player to score against his own team in 81st minute and scored a goal in the 87th minute, maybe this will give him a boost of confidence.
Indeed that was the best description: to removes heavy weight from his back!
He was stressed and infuriated about that. Even media criticised him a lot along with Ramos for not doing anything to the team.
Now, we have many surprises in different leagues. For Ligue 1, Rennes is in the 2nd place and Lens is 2 goals behind Brest after 25 minutes

Despite receiving a red card from the goalkeeper in Paris Saint-Germain, they managed to win the match. They took the lead with a very early goal from Mbappe, Nantes tied the game, but PSG had the last word. Messi finally scored, which is very good news. I hope his performance continues to increase and he scores more goals just like in La Liga. Paris Saint-Germain is very comfortable in this league.

PSG immediately surprised by scoring the early goal of the match through Kylian Mbappe in 2 minutes, it made the morale of the Nantes players fall.
But after Keylor Navas got a red card in the 65th minute, Nantes players again increased their morale and it was proven not long after that
Nantes managed to score a goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately PSG managed to score another goal in the 81st minute and after that Messi
ensured PSG's victory by scoring a goal. It's very extraordinary for PSG's appearance, to show its dominance, only with 10 players can win the game.
Hopefully Messi can score another goal in the next match, when PSG play against Man City in the Champions League.

Nah, Messi first goal was always something coming, and Bayern also likes to lose every now and then but Man U losing 4-1 to Watford is something for sure most bookies did not expect and even the most diehard Watford fan never dreams of.

But it's of course nice to see Messi get one in the league (don't forget though he already did so in UCL). Messi smiling, worth a thousand pictures.

On the other hand, I am very optimistic that PSG can get 3 points here because even though Nantes is quite good, but in this match they will have no chance of winning the match.
I think at least 2 goals difference will be created in this match.

The match has started and it has been more than 30 minutes, a quick goal from Kylian Mbappe put PSG in charge of the current match. I also looked at the line-up, but I didn't find the name of Sergio Ramos (even on the bench), We failed again to see Sergio Ramos play with PSG.
Sergio Ramos seems not to have improved so much that he is not yet in the PSG line-up. Of course, we would like to see performances at a different club, but the truth is that this time is different, like taking a long break in the world of football.
The PSG players are back full of their main squad, I think this has to win also the attacking line-up is like an early starter so it is likely that PSG will still get points.

Never mind Ramos I think PSG will let him go because it's useless.
Honestly with all these "bad" talk about PSG and how they are not dominating.. they are still 10 points ahead of everyone else and will be growing that today possibly (or keep it still). Messi and Ramos playing together for the first time ever, that's going to be a big thing. I always felt like Messi provided so much talent for Spanish league that whenever he played for Argentina it felt weird, I always felt like as a kid who came to Spain when he was only a little boy and played there for maybe over 20 years, he really should have played for Spain and nobody would have said anything, that would have been them playing together.

However that is silly and he is from Argentina and now Ramos and Messi will have their first game ever. After decades long battle against each other, this is going to be a weird feeling for both of them, let's see how it pans out.

Liverpool destroyed Arsenal four goals to nil this wont go unnoticed too but i think for the French league, Messi the magician is the person that will be marking headlines this time around after a brilliant performance play for PSG which deserves some merit for the handwork his been putting, did i also mention he got a goal well the Messi-CR7 battles continue Grin

Otherwise top of the news certainly has to go to Ole and his Manchester united team!

LOL, your guess is probably right. If there was a bet for it, maybe you would win the bet.
In fact Messi has managed to score several goals in the Champions League, but this is his first goal in Ligue 1 which indicate that he is starting to adapt well to his team-mates. I'm happy with its success, but it seems a bit unnatural that it will make headlines this week in a lot of sports media.  Cheesy

Judging by how PSG is painfully gaining points, we should wait until Nantes comes out ahead and the odds for PSG will become more attractive than now (1.21)  Grin I think after the matches of the national teams they are weakened, so I predict a strong-willed victory for PSG with a score of 3-2.

It looks like my theory is working. At the time when PSG had one player less and the score was 1-1, the odds of them winning in live bets was 3.2. I was greedy and did not make a bet, but those who were brave enough and promptly earned good money in 15 minutes.

The match between PSG Vs Nantes has ended and PSG came out as the winner with a score of 3 - 1, your guess is almost right @KTChampions Cheesy

so I predict a strong-willed victory for PSG with a score of 3-2.

Cheesy Unfortunately, I didn't benefit from my prediction.

PSG - Nantes game has been quite interesting so far. But it seems like PSG are going to secure a comfortable victory by 3-1 here. They got ahead by Mbappe's goal in the second minute of the game already. And the score was 1-0 for a long time. But after Keylor Navas got a red card, Nantes got a chance and scored not much time after it. But even though PSG were playing with ten players, they were far stronger than their opponent. And they proved it also by scoring two more goals. They are just a very strong team and their level is way above the rest of the teams in this league. It was nice to see Messi scoring too.
Yes, Messi scored a beautiful goal today against Nantes after receiving Mbappe's pass. I like the way he scores goals because that was his hallmark at Barcelona before. This is Messi's first goal for PSG in Ligue 1 as far as I know and it is a very good thing before PSG meet Manchester City in the Champions League. Despite only playing with 10 player, it looks good for PSG to get 3 point and prove that they are capable as a team.

In the first half the match was boring, there was only 1 goal scored by Kylian Mbappe in the early minutes, But in the second half, we saw 3 additional goals, scored by Lionel Messi and an own goal from Appiah for PSG, on the other hand Nantes managed to score 1 goal scored by Kolo Muani.
