@acquafredda congratulations to Lille they definitely deserved the title, but I sincerely doubt that next season they’ll be able to hold on to it. Furthermore do you’ll expect PSG to sell few player’s and change their team, because this team clearly lacks the balance required to win the titles.

I agree with you, LOSC Lille has not the same budget as PSG, as far as I know they only have 147 million Euros of yearly budget which is 4 times less than the one of Paris(640 million Euros). So yes it's a big difference between the two teams but PSG had to play matches of the Champions League and of the French Cup during the Ligue 1 championship while LOSC has been eliminated at the Round of 16 of the French Cup beaten 3-0 by PSG.

I think PSG's failure now is due to egos to score goals that some of their star players have shown by neymar in several matches and I think Mauricio Pochettino has done a great job in his first season at PSG with 23 wins in 34 games, but we know in terms of match schedules, of course Lille is more profitable than PSG, which does have a fairly busy schedule this season both in the domestic league and in the champions league and I think next season Mauricio Pochettino will bring PSG back as the ruler of Ligue 1.

PSG has only spent money. But the team couldn’t sort it out properly. They set up one of the strongest forward lineups in the world. But still they are not performing as expected. Something was even more of a shock to me yesterday, I thought the last time Lille won a league was like 70 years ago, but apparently there was one just in 2010 and before that it was 70 years that true. Lille wasn't really on the map when the league started, everyone was expecting PSG to dominate big time, they were the finalist of champions league last year and didn't have too much change in the team and now obviously it would have been a wise decision to bet on them winning the league this year as well.

Looking at the result it was a tough situation, let's be honest the championship was decided on the very last game so we can't say it was an easy championship for lille neither, the game was also very close as well just a 2-1 win from Lille and it was 2-0 all game, if Angers scored their goal earlier there could have been trouble.

So, it is a very hard fought, very difficult, very tough championship that Lille won and they deserve all the happiness they have. As a non-french person from another nation I am happy to see such an unexpected result, it made the league more fun to watch for me.

It's pathetic really to accept that PSG with the most costly players lost the title to Lille. Happy for Lille, they showing us that nothing is impossible. PSG have only money but unfortunately money is not everything, and Lille demonstrate this once more. PSG should relax just like Juvetus & Madrid lost their home title.

PSG has massive stars and unlimited money, it should never has been that close, they should be steamrolling the competition. You can argue Lille didn't win it as much as PSG lost it, but the end result is the same.

they deserved the title, and it was a very tough call in the end, but huge win for underdogs

this French championship was a lot more interesting than previous ones, but it was mostly due to PSG playing poor, than other playing better than before, Paris had 91 points in 2019, and 68 points with 11 matches to play last season, they did not start well this season, and had many upsets, which gave chance to competition, and Lille used it to the best, congrats

Congratulations to Lille over their victory as the winner of the French Ligue 1, which they deserve. They worked hard this season, and probably got the Ligue 1 trophy. PSG couldn't top Lille, they are 1 point behind Lille, but however will be playing in the Champion League next season.
While Monaco are in the Champion League qualifiers zone, I hope they gets into the Champion League group stage. It was an amazing season in the Ligue 1.

PSG let the title escape from it several times and Lille deserves it without doubt. Congrats Lille.
The most incredible thing is to see Nantes losing while all teams directly above it dropped points. If they get those 3 points they would end 14th! Good luck for them playing relegation play-offs game!
