After few years first time we have very tight situation in French League as 4 teams fighting hard for title after today result PSG is suffering very badly and Lille is in good situation. If Lyon win his match than they can jump on third spot which is not bad at all as Monaco will slip to fourth hopefully next rounds will bring some more entertaining games for this Covid-19 hit season.

It was a really unexpected result for me that Lille managed to win this 1-0 away. PSG actually had much more goal chances but they were so clumsy that they couldn't score any. Lille are the leader again now with 66 points and they will end this week as 3 points ahead of their closest opponent.

Probobly the most exciting league finish in last 10-20 years in france ligue 1
Totally unexpected win from Lille. This is a huge boost for them i hope they continue this amazing run
Also Monaco and Lyon are chasing the title as well. Cant wait too see what will happen next

I've realized that I really missed a competition like this in the Ligue 1. Because it was really boring for years as PSG were dominating the league too much. It's not the thing people want generally. People want competition and they want to really enjoy watching the matches.

I think you are right, Paris is currently highly focused on the champions league but it's a big mistake from them in my opinion because they will certainly be eliminated by Bayern Munich in 8 days during the second leg of the quarter final (Tuesday April 13). And then it can be too late to focus on the Ligue 1 championship and to get the first place again. Undecided

They are currently 3 points behind Lille, it's not a small gap to fill.

Lille was at top nearly, and that is good enough to say that they could beat PSG, I mean I get that people think they are so good but Lille has proven time and time again how great they are. This is why it is not a shock that they won. I believe ligue 1 finally could have a different champions, I am hoping the same for Serie A which looks like there is a 99% chance Inter will be the champions, Bundesliga doesn't have that and they still have Bayern at the top so that is not going to be that easy.

I do not know when or how some team will beat them because they are getting great players this off-season as well. However PSG deal here is a different one, it is not that PSG is very bad team all of a sudden, they just didn't play well on the league but they are still a great team so it is still a race, just because of one game difference doesn't mean they already lost.

Lille has more chances to win this match. PSG will now mainly focus on the Champions League. Their next match in the Champions League is against Bayern Munich. Very strong opponent. Well I think PSG is very inconsistent in their results since february when Neymar had to leave, and it won't be easy at all for them to win against Bayern Munich after tomorrow. Odds at bookmakers are very bad for them : 4.1 while odds for Bayern are below 2.0
