I don't think there will be anyone who will deny that PSG is will not be the favorite to win the match against Montpellier. I have not watched Montpellier's matches this season, but based on PSG's form, I know that it will be very difficult for Montpellier to even draw with PSG. One of the main reasons Montpellier will find it more challenging to win against PSG in this upcoming match is that the game will be played at PSG's home. PSG players and the coaching staff have it in mind that they need to prove a point to the fans and others that they can perform well without Mbappe. You know some people thought that since Mbappe has left PSG that they wouldn't be competent of winning the league. Starting the season by scoring many goals is a good way to put fear in the minds of your opponents because they will start to be afraid of playing you and they'll play with caution when you meet. PSG has won 20 matches against Montpellier hence they'll still defeat them when they play. There's also going to be lost of goals in the game as psg will want to continue their scoring of many goals in their games and Montpellier is just the prefect opponent they should face because they score lots of goals when facing them. We can't draw conclusions for each team from a match at the beginning of this season because there are still many matches that each team has to go through this season. PSG was lucky because of hiring Enrique, they spent too much more for hiring Superstar players in the past but every time they couldn't get good results in the Champions League yet and it was not good for PSG to get these results. I think PSG can have better teamwork thanks to their coach and I think they can have better players when they have the enough time to fill the place of Mbappe in this team.
So far they didn't have hard games to test themselves after Mbappe left PSG.
