I understand that the PSG finances did take somewhat of a hit when they had to let Mbappé go for free. But I think they are not going to sell important players from the squad to make up for that. If they actually do that, that is going to be a bad decision from them. And right now they are being coached by Luis Enrique. He is a very decorated and capable coach. I don’t think he is going to allow something like that to happen. Even though things are not that good for PSG, they still have hope. But if the players are interested in leaving PSG, either for money or to go to a better club, then it is going to be a different story. Because if players want to leave, it is very hard to make them stay. and even if they end up staying, you cannot guarantee that they are going to perform well. I’m sure PSG knows that very well.

Champions league is a league for Champions coming from different leagues, it is not something easy to win with an average performance. PSG are still struggling, even when they had the best of the squad together they were still unable to win the UCL, talk more of now when the players who where the pioneers are no longer in the team. PSG wants the UCL but their value doesn't match to reflect the outcome of what they have in mind, they will someday win the UCL but not this season untill further in the feature when the squad is updated with key players.

Mbappe is now a Real Madrid player I wonder why people are still talking about him as if he's still in the PSG team, PSG could have a better team in absence of Mbappe since the team will not be dependent on any one's shoulder again and coming to the next season I expect the coach to encourage the players to focus more on having the growth and betterment of the club at heart before choosing to pursue individual achievements. Once they play as a team and work on their performance they may still dominate the Ligue1 and make a difference in the champions league competition next season.

PSG should immediately complete all their transfer plans before Ligue 1 starts, because it can give Luis Enrique the freedom to prepare the team to build closeness with all the players. If in the end PSG fails to find a replacement for Mbappe, I think it will not threaten their dominance in Ligue 1, but the decline will be seen in the Champions League. However, the squad that PSG currently has is actually quite good, so far their performance may not be optimal because they are too dependent on Mbappe. Next season without Mbappe PSG can start with a different strategy, play more collectively and who knows it can bring better luck. It is not an easy job to win the Champions League trophy, because currently Real Madrid and Manchester City have better strength among all the contestants. The transfer window will close in 20 days, Osimhen is still being hotly discussed as a strong candidate to replace Mbappe.

we agree and as I often discuss in several posts, Mbappe has left. Like it or not, PSG must be ready with the available players or bring in other options in this summer's transfer window. even we know that the coming and going of players does not make the club disappear, they will look for a replacement and ensure the next steps. Mbappe is one of the great players, but when his dream is difficult to realize with PSG, then he has the right to choose his future. currently PSG is trying to bring in several newcomers that they are targeting in this summer's transfer window, none other than so that PSG can remain a competitive team. at least, PSG will maintain its dominance in the French League. I am sure Enrique will do his job to the maximum, he will devote his energy so that his team can compete at the Champions League level. even though it is constrained, efforts must still be made as a giant Lique 1 team.

As far as I know, Enrique doesn't always succeed in making PSG win trophies because, as far as I know, Enrique has just been at PSG for one season, so it doesn't seem right to say "always". But apart from that, it is true that Enrique is a great coach who certainly has great experience in his coaching career. Thus, of course it will be easy for Enrique to keep PSG fine even without Mbappe.

The reason I say that it will be easy for Enrique to keep PSG doing well is because basically PSG is the team that has the best finances in Ligue 1 and thus, it will be easy for Enrique to maintain good performance because he has good support too. But even though I remain confident that Enrique will be successful at PSG even if only in the domestic league,  at least it is a big curiosity how PSG will be next season. Because so far PSG has depended on Mbappe, so it may be a bigger challenge than before for Enrique to make PSG consistent throughout the season.

What PSG must do from now on is to keep their talents in the team, not to sell them. Therefore they are doing the right thing by keeping Lee Kang-In.    They wanted to keep Mbappe as well but the plans didn't go as they expected.

Now I'm just curious about whether we will see any star signing in this transfer window. To fill a star like Mbappe's place of course. They surely wish they were able to sell Mbappe for a good fee instead of free agent.

If there is no FFP problem in the Ligue 1 then they can still make a big spending for another star I assume. But who would it be? I don't see any such player on their radar these days.

PSG is trying to improve the squad they have by bringing in several new players so it will be difficult to see PSG letting go of its current main players, losing Mbappe has made PSG lose their sharpness in terms of scoring goals and now they are actually try to search for a new striker which indeed worthy to replace Mbappe in next season, apart from that, by bringing in several new players it certainly shows their ambition to be better next season, so I think  they don't want to risk losing Lee Kang In again at this time,  Lee Kang in has appeared very impressive performance  in the last two seasons and we can no longer doubt his ability to build attacks from the right wing because he having the speed and accuracy of passes like other Korean football players, Lee Kang In also has the ability to play in various different positions so that Enrique has no difficulty in arranging their formations so far.

To be honest, apart from the source you mentioned, I personally don't see any stronger source that would inform me if there is any interest from Arab clubs or others in recruiting Lee Kang in at this time, apart from that, if there are other teams that are interested in bringing him,  but I think it doesn't seem like that there are reasons for PSG to sell him because it will be very difficult to find another player who is as versatile as he is at the moment.

It is very difficult to find a player with the ability like Mbappe, so it will take time for them to be able to have a player like that again. But that doesn't mean they can't get it, because it's possible that the player they bring in this season can perform beyond expectations and have a big influence on the game of Paris Saint Germain. Nothing is impossible in football and it could even be better than Mbappe.

But rather than continuing to talk about Mbappe, I think they should focus more on improving the squad as a whole. Because it's useless if they have star players while the other players can't complement each other, then the failures and failures like they've felt so far will continue to happen. PSG must really protect their players this time because there was interest from a Saudi league team that wanted to recruit a Korean player, Lee Kang-In. I have no doubt at all about Enrique's ability to find another finisher for PSG this season even though it may not be on par with Mbappe, but with the new format in the UCL, of course it could help PSG a little in their efforts to win their first UCL trophy this season. In addition, PSG must not be too worried about the domestic trophy because in Ligue 1 there is still no team that can beat them this season. So Enrique will only prepare some players who are suitable for finishers and also those who are suitable for the team's defense area so that PSG's strength is not lost when Mbappe is no longer in the squad.

Why are you discussing Mbappe here? He is already training with Real, we should forget about him, like we forgot about Messi and Neymar. Even though PSG spent more money to get new signings players I don’t think they will be able to win the Champions League because they don’t have the mentality of winning the league, a team that is capable of winning the title is well-known and you will see that even from their performance, if any team wants to win a champion league they need to learn from Real Madrid because Real Madrid is the best team that has that mentality of winning champion league even when they don’t give a striker, PSG is not that good enough to win a champion league because they don’t have the mentality, I have said it before that even when Messi, Neymar and Mbape are in the club and they failed to win the champion league it is all because they don’t have the mentality of winning it.

It Will be very difficult for PSG to win the Champions League, not only the Champion League even this coming season I think it is not going to be easy for them because no one can help the team like the way Mbape did, Mbape is the one that is making the team to win the league every season and now that he has to leave the team I think the team is going to struggle to win the league 1 title, PSG have barcola that will play as a wing but I don’t think the guy has the mentality of winning the game for his team.

They should forget about Mbappe and they should focus on the squad they have now, Mbappe is an individual while in football they will play as a team, so it should not have a big impact even though Mbappe is a player who contributes greatly to Paris Saint Germain's attack. If they keep remembering Mbappe then it will have a bad impact on them and also it will never bring Mbappe back into their squad because the contract at Real Madrid has also been signed. Instead they have to show that even without Mbappe in the squad they can play even better. They have the potential to do all that, it just depends on how they can utilize the great potential that is within them.

Marseille do have a prospect of winning League 1 if PSG doesn't put their club inorder before the league starts. They don't have mbappe again but they don't want to sign someone to replace him. There are many wingers available that they can go for to replace mbappe or just go for a striker that they can depend on to get them goals when they need them to win games but they're feeling redundant. Lille and Monaco shouldn't not be left out of the conversation of likely winners because they have been runner up for some seasons and if PSG doesn't have their camp in order, we can except this clubs to come into the fight for who will win but I do think PSG will be competent next season in lifting the trophy again. There isn't many clubs that can stand toes to toes with PSG in Ligue 1. PSG just need to get everything done on time and sign new players and they become the favourites again

We can't say anything yet about PSG in the next season without Mbappe. Mbappe was a big part of PSG and he was an effective player on this team but still, he was just a player and we know Enrique or all the other people in PSG were expecting to see Mbappe leave the team and they were getting ready for it. That's why they could have a plan for the time when he leaves the team and they could find an alternative player to take his place in PSG.
Even Enrique said they would fill the place of Mbappe in PSG with the teamwork of all players.
 

I am sure losing Mbappe will have an effect to PSG performance for next season because for striker position there was no players who can performing well just like Mbappe and last season Mbappe has been scoring 27 goals in Ligue 1 which mean Mbappe has contribution 30% from PSG total goals of last season so these records is proven Mbappe is very important for this team

Another proof of why PSG relies too much on Mbappe is when he was absense in the beginning of league and PSG is difficult to gets the winning results even against weak teams at that time PSG was unable to win so that's why i am sure next season without Mbappe PSG will be difficult to scores goals and for Ligue 1 probably PSG is still being an strong opponent for race title but for Champion league i am not sure about that

For forward lines PSG actually has Ousmane Dembele, Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos and they are good quality players and if PSG didn't gets the players they want as the replacement of Mbappe this summer probably Luis Enrique can maximize the potential of these players for next season

I still admit the dominance of League 1 but to compete strongly like last season in the Champions League I really doubt PSG.
Previously PSG always dominated League 1 even though there were only a few professional players left, even without Mbappe PSG would still be able to dominate the title but without a reliable striker like Mbappe, PSG certainly would not be able to compete in the Champions League even though they currently have a replacement for Mbappe but their talents are not equal.

Yes, maybe we are too early to say this but since we remember Enrique trying not to use Mbappe in his attack line, the results were very bad last season, more often ending in draws and losses.
That is the reason I support your opinion that in the UCL later PSG will have a lot of trouble.

I have no doubt that Luis Enrique is a very experienced coach. But is PSG's squad strong enough this season? Is PSG's current squad strong enough to dominate Ligue 1 and the Champions League? I don't think so.

Without Mbappe, PSG's attack is relatively weak. Luis Enrique managed to strengthen the bonding between the players. Luis Enrique's match strategy is also very good. But without a good and experienced finisher, it is very difficult to sustain a consistently good performance. And it will be even more difficult in the Champions League. So I don't expect much from PSG next season unless they find a suitable replacement for Mbappe.
