In my opinion, PSG is more suitable for Nico Williams. He will have less opponents in his position and will have the chance to play constantly. He will also be very successful in France statistically. I think he will score more goals and assists than in Spain. However, if Barcelona is his dream, which is the dream of every player in the Basque region, he can easily give up on PSG.

If a club wants to buy a player who has already been drafted, the club will have to pay a higher price for that player. For Young and talented players like Nico Williams, their team usually not only benefit from their good skills and what they will be helping the team achieve but they also get to see them as an investment which in the future they will get some monetary benefits. One team that was notorious for this way Dortmund in the bundesliga, they do recruit young talents, groom them to be better and sell them make huge profits from them in the long run. If PSG misses this deal, I know there are others out there which they can get but will not equate exactly to this.

I think it's quite obvious that we are going to see PSG have a little bit of struggle at the start of the season, not just because they didn't do many friendlies which will definitely be one of the reasons, but because they are forgetting that they do not have Mbappe anymore this season. Point of playing friendlies this season wouldn't be just to get back in shape, it wouldn't be to keep players happy or whatever, it would be because for the first time in many years, maybe first time for any of this PSG players, there won't be any Mbappe on the team. So they should have played some friendlies to see how they would fair without Mbappe, if they could do that then it would have been a great deal and I think it would have worked out very well.

I think the best thing to do right now would be just focusing on how PSG could work things out without him, and that requires a lot of training and players realizing what that means. They all will play differently, and they won't be just giving the ball to him, meaning they will play a lot more team ball, and that requires a lot more training as well. Paris Saint-Germain is looking to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season, and João Neves is now at the center of the discussions.

Discussions between  PSG and Benfica have reached a crucial new stage. PSG is determined to finalize this transfer by next week, showing a clear intention to see João Neves join their ranks for the 2024-2025 season.

It seems Williams has finally made his choice, he decided to stay at Athletic Bilbao and the reason for this choice was very simple, because of his attachment to the club. Then, you could tell them to come back, have 2 friendlies, and then start playing at the league. It would be a shock if they lose their early games, but even if they do, let's face the reality that they will end up winning the league easily, even without Mbappe.
