Although winning the Champions League is a big goal for any team, it is not easy to achieve it. PSG will face Germany's representative, Dortmund, and the match cannot be considered easy because Dortmund will definitely try to play better in order to qualify for the final. PSG is indeed quite the favorite to advance to the final, but they have to be careful because in the Champions League something can happen that is beyond prediction.

PSG will be much more focused on preparing for the Champions League match and maybe they will try to rotate players when facing the domestic league. This aims to ensure that the core players they have do not suffer injuries because if some players cannot be used it will make PSG a little troublesome to face Dortmund.

The inconsistent performance of Chelsea is one that is now a major worry for the fans because as a big club, this is not what the fans expect as the club hasn’t managed to have at least 5 straight good matches and this has now made the club be seen as a mediocre club. You can blame a lot for the bad performances from the inconsistent and worrisome defense line to the wrong tactics of the coach.

 ⁠You can say a lot is wrong with the club already and this is quite worrisome especially after the club’s new owners have spent quite a lot on the team to see that the performance tries to improve more than how it was last season. The club needs to bounce back to winning ways and one way to that is to immediately address the issues bothering or causing these challenges as the club is a big club and shouldn’t be in this state next season.

Indeed. It's only the first and second leg of the UCL match to decide which club will continue to the final. And indeed, We'll see how Mbappe can get his teammates to be as optimal as possible in the semi-finals. Toulouse is not fighting for the title, they are not fighting for a place in European competitions and they are not in danger of being relegated, they are very far from the relegation zone, that is why when Toulouse plays against PSG, they will play without lots of motivation

So I see a very easy victory for PSG in the game against Toulouse, this scenario would change if Toulouse lost in the next 2 games, in that case when they play against PSG, they will try hard to win because they won't want to be close to the relegation zone. Be that as it may, even if Toulouse played seriously, in the last few games Toulouse hasn't beaten PSG; This is actually kind of funny

with this history of defeats that toulouse have had whenever they play against psg, it is safe to say that if psg wins in the next game, then when psg plays against toulouse, they will win and will celebrate winning the title

I believe the UCL made them to be consistent in controlling and having a comfortable win in the league , the reason is because of the position they find themselves in the champions league and I'd say it really motivated them to do more because to me I don't really see the need to hype the club PSG, this time around they need to play out there best I mean in the champions league.
We all know this is the only place (The Ligue 1) they get to show their strength, if they play the way they are doing in the league I don't see what's stopping them from playing the champions league final every season, even Bayern Munich would be afraid of them so this is their final play with the man Mbappe, it is now or never. As for Dembele it would have been a big shame for a player as him with so much to offer didn't get a goal in the league or made a contribution.
The league isn't their problem, I can tell but let's see how they handle the champions league game.

Everything is so easy for PSG in the Ligue 1.    When they fully focus on their matches they are getting really easy victories. The Lorient and Lyon matches recently can be given as great examples. The power gap between PSG and any other team in the league is just huge in the end.

The Ligue 1 title is easy to achieve maybe but PSG still have no Champions League trophy. If they can't win the Champions League this season as well then I will believe in Mbappe to join Real Madrid this summer more.

Dembele seems struggling to score goals for PSG, but other than goals, his contributions for the team's attacks are so important. He would always become a threat for the opponents' defense that makes Mbappe easier to find a room to penetrate. He is a type of a player who makes the team's attacks functioning very well with his dribbling skill and key passes.

It's unfortunate for Lorient to have to face PSG when they need to win games to fight avoiding relegation, but they still have chance to stay
in Ligue 1 by gaining points in their remaining matches and hoping the teams above them to lose their matches. This is not a good situation for team. They have stayed in Ligue 1 for few seasons, It's a shame if they have to go back down to Ligue 2. Ligue 1 seems more competitive in the relegations battle than the league title race, because the relegated teams are always different each season.

Mbappe been seen as a good player and one of the best in the world is not a statement to contend and of course looking at his performance and how much he's been able to achieve since he started playing football it will be very fair to see him as some one who has been able to climb to that height where he can be considered such a caliber of player but then there are some other considerations to make while fitting him in to all of this.

Talking about playing in the premier league, I'm sure it would have been a different case , which would be either he would have been still seen as up coming or he would have gotten to the point where he would have wanted to leave england because it's actually not the same kind of ball game,it can't even be compared to international football because in England some team has got the collection of solid players, so playing against them in a team is actually different from playing against them individually as in international football so the huge difference could have in a way affected mbappes results a d productivity.

There are players who has played in England a d didn't succed as much as they did after they left because the style of football in English is different and the competition is aswell in a very different level such that at some point even an average performance would get you no where so it's best you leave of improve. England isn't a place to actually come to grow talent but more of a place to come showcase it especially if it's been well developed already.

The game finished 1-4. Lorient will be relegated if they fail to pick up points in their last games. PSG will celebrate their championship next week. Dembele, who has not contributed more than one goal all season, scored two goals in this match. PSG wings need to be more active in the goal area. Mbappe reached 26 goals in the league. He did what was expected of him, despite the transfer speculations about him. This is true professionalism. Now they have the CL semi-final and the French Cup final ahead of them. They can finish the year with 3 trophies. I wonder if this will affect Mbappe's decision.

Where did you do your research about the results? PSG won the game against Lorient with 4 goals to 1. Actually makes sense with what you have written after posting results, but whatever.

Nice might have lost important points here and Monaco played a very important game and made big progress towards their goal to qualify for the Champions League.

Maybe next game some of the PSG superstars get another break before the next round of the Champions League break takes place, but PSG can easily afford to rest some of their best players.

Expected outcome with Dembele and Mbappe scoring two goals each. Lorient fate in Ligue 1 doesn't seem to be good.

Nice continue its bad results with a draw although facing 10 players in the entire second half..

Monaco 1 - 0 Lille
Monaco is consolidating its second position with this victory in addition to Brest defeat. Lille is still fourth and they have to move to the third spot to pass directly to Champions League.

Mbappe is currently one of the best players in the world playing active football. I'm sure this would be the case even if he played in the Premier League rather than the French league, because as a football player, he is a complete professional who tries to give his best performance in every match, including international matches. Probably the league he will play in will change soon, but when compared to Mbappe and any other player, I think Mbappe will be one step ahead.

It's bottom of the table team so you can't expect Lorient team player to perform well and show some handsome performances against one of their top side PSG. Anyway PSG has decent lead in league table and it's confirmed that they will be the winner as second team are far behind them so now PSG should give rest to thier top player like mbappe and Dembele in order to be more fit, relax and focused on upcoming champions league semifinals match against Dortmund which is looking easy but I think in UCL you can't underestimate any team. So coming to the point Instead of rest Enrique still put guys on game which is surprising for me but I think management has better plan for such crutical situation. Hope we will have decent performance for them in coming matches

But I personally hope the Champions League final this season will be a match between PSG v Bayern Munich because if that happens, then ofcourse the final match will be more interesting because PSG and Bayern Munich are not teams that always qualify for the Champions League final like Real Madrid. Although indeed, it will certainly not be easy for Bayern Munich to beat Real Madrid but for some reason, I think Bayern Munich at this moment still has a chance to qualify for the Champions League final, even though in the semifinals that Bayern Munich must play against Real Madrid. Also about PSG, although only playing againts Dortmund in the semifinals is certainly still a difficult match. But yes,because PSG position and situation at this moment is safe at the top of the Ligue 1 standings, then ofcourse PSG must be able to maximize the chances it has in the Champions League also this season.

Sure both teams are not equals that's why PSG showed them the superiority, ordinarily PSG is not a small team, so for me it was expected, the history of both teams tells it all, at this point psg is sitting at the first position of the French league, thiw leqgue has gone very far that the contenders can no longer say that it is possible for them to contest the league, in essense i will call tonight wining an expected workover for psg, I have said it before now that french league don't look competitive for me, I want to see a serious team tbat deprive PSG that league but unfortunately those well known teams like Monaco and other teams failed to do it, anyways lets see how events plays out, as for the champions league it won't that easy for them because Brusia Dortmund won't be an easy crack.

I would say that there are some differences between leagues of course, and Mbappe still have easier time at ligue one then he would have in other leagues, but that also doesn't mean that Mbappe is worse. While Mbappe is definitely better than Kane or any other player you can find, and I feel like he could be the best player in the world right now, or at least high up there, we could also say that Mbappe could score less if he was at City, compared to scoring at PSG.

There isn't any opponents for him at Ligue one, dude is playing for a team that worths more than three times the next club, of course he has easier time there. Like I said, just because he plays at farmers league, doesn't make him bad, he would be great at any league.

There is no points count in the knockout rounds, the points calculation system only applies to the group stages. One of the teams will go to the final in any way, including being determined by a penalty shootout if both teams draw in both away and home legs. PSG is one of the most likely to be in the final, but Dortmund is not a team that should be underestimated based on its track record in the Champions League this season.

Previously, PSG and Dortmund were in the same group in the Champions League this season. PSG won 1x and drew 1x, so we probably know who is the favorite to advance to the final. From the line-up you mentioned above it seems that if not completely PSG underestimated Lorient at the moment, and we can even say that Enrique fielded almost 70% of their main squad to face the relegation zone team and I think today Enrique is really chasing victory to be able to secure the Ligue 1 championship trophy sooner to make them comfortable playing in the Champions League later,  With the current points, of course, PSG only need two or three more games to ensure the championship is theirs, for Lorient facing PSG is certainly a nightmare that will actually make them even more immersed in the relegation zone this season, because it will be very difficult for Lorient to get a draw let alone win from PSG who currently have great motivation to immediately win the title.

As I write this post, PSG has taken a 2-goal lead over Lorient through Dembele and Mbappe's goals, now the first half match has ended and so far the first half match PSG managed to dominate the game to reach 64% and made 4 attempts with 3 of them shots on target, although it continues to be pressed but it can be seen from the existing statistics Lorient was also able to endanger Donnarumma's goal several times in the match.

Lorient is not a difficult opponent for PSG and currently PSG's score is superior and I am sure PSG will end up winning until the match is finished, if we look at the statistics Lorient has never experienced a win even though they are currently playing at their home ground and that doesn't mean they can make things difficult for PSG but the fact is Currently they are two goals behind and maybe there will be another goal scored by PSG, but we are not sure that Lorient will score a goal to reduce the defeat, PSG is already dominating Ligue 1, of course they will not give the lower clubs a chance to win and beat them.

PSG has been determined to win the Ligue 1 title for the umpteenth time and now they will clearly be more focused on the UCL because they have qualified for the UCL semi-finals against Dortmund. Of course Enrique must be able to rotate his players so that no one gets injured, let alone playing for a long time at one time. The match against a bottom team will clearly be detrimental to PSG because they have to be able to win against Dortmund in the first leg so that it will be easier to face them in the second leg. Enrique seems to have fielded several important players against Lorient. I hope he can rotate the other players. .
