Lille and Reims profited the most from the defeat of Nice and Monaco to reduce the gap between them and I assume PSG will profit also once they win against Lens to get a securing 8 points at least from the rest.
Lorient defeat was expected since Lille is better and Lorient will not escape from the relegation zone for sure if they continue like that..

Lens seems to be struggling to replicate last season's magic. Despite their strong home form, their season started poorly, and they're not the same team. Against PSG, especially in their current form, is scary for any club. PSG hasnt lost in 13 games and has more depth than Lens. Lens's win over PSG last time was stunning, but repeating it this time seems unlikely. Lens might even consider a draw under the circumstances.

However, Luiz Enrique's PSG seems unstoppable. Not only do they want to win, they want to go further ahead. PSG's chance to dominate is better than ever as Nice and Monaco lose points. As a fan, I want Lens to interrupt PSG's rhythm, but PSG is likely to win all three points.

The match is over and as you said the result was a landslide 3-0 win for Lille. I don't think this result is at all surprising for us because it was clear when playing at home that Lille was very strong and it was impossible for Lorient to be able to steal points. If you just look at the statistics here, Lille is very superior with 62% ball possession and for Lorient they are only able to control it with 38%. The difference is very large and this is clearly a victory for Lille.

This result also made Lille reclaim their place before being in 5th place in the standings and now they will try again to immediately displace Brest from the top 4 of the standings in the next match. For Lorient, they have to be more patient in waiting and it is very difficult for them to escape the relegation zone with poor performance.

Seeing the results obtained by Monaco and Nice where two of their competitors lost will give PSG even more motivation to win the match so that it will make their position in the standings more secure because Nice or other teams will find it increasingly difficult to catch up with the point difference from PSG, and with the greater the difference PSG's points will provide an advantage when they return to playing in the Champions League in mid-February.

In accordance with what I once thought, Nice actually does not deserve to be in second place because actually Nice is not very strong, they are just lucky and in the end will experience a decline and yesterday's match was beyond my expectations that Rennes could beat Nice by 2 scores without being able to put up any resistance. and that is proof that second place is actually more worthy of being occupied by another popular club than Nice.
For today's match, Lens will host PSG and I am never worried as long as PSG is able to consistently maintain their position, they should be able to beat Lens, even though away matches are always difficult for any club, but I only have confidence that PSG will be aggressive in continuing to win. victory and provide a large point difference for Nice and the odds given by the bookies for PSG are quite large and this is an opportunity to bet on getting quite large odds for PSG.

It is sad to see Nice starting to perform like this in the middle of the season already.    I hoped to see them being more competitive at least until the final weeks. Because PSG will probably make use of this point losses to pull away from them early. It depends on whether they defeat Lens today though. If they do the gap will be 8 points.

The Ligue 1 is nearly always easy for PSG as they can't find a competitive opponent for themselves. This is one of the factors what make the Ligue 1 not much appealing to people to follow it.

By the way do you think Mbappe will really leave this summer? I know this topic has been discussed a lot but I have started seeing more serious news between him and Real Madrid recently.

PSG should win this game. Even though the match may be a little bit tough for PSG as some of there players are missing and may miss this match but I think they should still claim superior over lens.

PSG is currently in good shape. They are 5 points ahead and still have 1 game less. But the PSG team is not in good condition, many players are injured and others are playing for their countries in the Asian and African Cups. Lens is more fortunate, it seems that not many players are absent. So it seems that this match will be more interesting. I think Lens also have the advantage of playing at home, it will make the players mentally better.

Many say that whatever other clubs do, PSG will ultimately win the Ligue 1 trophy. What NICE did was extraordinary because they were able to be in second place in the standings where last season they were only in 9th place in the final standings. But the problem for NICE is that they find it difficult to maintain their consistency because they don't have good enough squad depth. It is very difficult to compete at the top level with the current NICE squad. I think they have to find a solution because next season they might play in the Champions League.

Lens is doing impressive after having the worst start of this season, and now they are currently having two matches losing streak, but their home form is impressive and PSG is also having good away run which is going to do something good into this match in last game they beat PSG with the score of 3 to 1 and if they are going to do again then surely their chances will be increase for the top four spots because this could be going big turning point for them.

PSG is surely much improved and strong side under Luis Enrique but still we can expect better performance from any team which is also doing good for the jumping into top three spots again after having good last season with the defeats of Monaco and Nice now difference of points is still at the five and in case of win this could be at the eight which is surely good for them.

Lille host Lorient who can't stop their bad run this season. I think Lille will win decisively or they will fall far behind in the championship race.If we look at the matches between them, we can say that these teams have no problem scoring goals against each other, but Lorient, who have had bad results this season and can't stop it, are unlikely to score away from home.
Lyon, who started this season in a terrible way and frankly frustrated and frightened their fans, has risen to 15th place with the win in the last 3 weeks. Now their opponent is Le Havre and we can expect them to beat them while they are in good form away from home.

Nice, though not too backwards in their performance because they lost just 3 out of 18 matches they've played so far this season Which is an awesome achievement for the club but they would have done better in other to close the gap a bit between them and the league leaders Paris Saint German and had it been they won Rennes they would have closed the gap to just two points pending the outcome of PSG match against Lens today but they missed the opportunity and lost to Rennes and should PSG win their match against Lens today that means the point difference between Nice and PSG will be extended to 8 points.

Monaco is having history of the choking with mostly they choked near the end of this season, but now they are having second defeat from three games which is making their life harder for staying into top ranks now we have Brest vs Montpellier in case of win Brest will be jumped at the third spot and this could be more interesting because in next round Monaco is going to visit Marseille which is also having good time as they are improving their performance for the better spot and their consistency will be allowed them to jump at the better spot before too late.

Reims is doing good as they are having chance for going down but their best tactics keeping them for the top ranks and keeping pressure on other teams for giving their best in this second half of the season PSG strong at the top and for the remaining spots it's not easy for all teams because they have same level performance.

To be honest, from the start I was very sure that Nice would not be able to win against Rennes and I immediately placed a bet with normal odds that were so large to get a large multiple of the odds. What happened in that match did not surprise me and Rennes managed to beat Nice with a score of 2-0 and as I thought Nice would have a very difficult time facing Rennes away from home.

Apart from that, even though Nice are in 2nd place in the standings and are motivated to shorten the distance from PSG, this is not enough to guarantee they can win and it is Rennes, who I think are in on fire mode, who can win this match. Well, winning with big odds from other matches too and very happy to be able to welcome Rennes back to the top 10 of the standings.

Lens doesn't look like last season but believe me, Lens are starting to improve and the start of the season looks very sad but now they have reached 8th place even though they were beaten Nice but that was an away game and I saw Lens when they played away that can't be said consistent, but if you compete at home, Lens could hold a draw or beat their opponent.
but the problem is that Lens today has to compete against the League 1 leaders, while PSG is currently starting to show its strongest performance since Mbappe decided to stay at PSG until his contract expires this player wants to give a good performance before leaving PSG.

In today's match, I find it difficult to say that PSG can win even though Lens is a little weak, but if they compete at home, Lens is able to withstand attacks from PSG and the score becomes a draw. so in this match it would be better if I bet on the Asian total which is much safer for me because if I choose to bet on PSG winning I'm afraid the match will end in a draw.

Marseille's performance cannot be called bad and cannot be called good, they play matches with an average system, and in the last few matches Marseille has lost 4 points. Which means Marseille still has a chance to fight for the top 5 position where it is currently ranked 6th.
However, today we will watch the match between Lille vs Lourient. I think Lille can win this match considering that this is their home match and Lourinet is a weak club in League 1. If Lille wins this match then the standings position will change where Lille will be ranked 5th and Reims in ranked 6th and Marseille in 7th place. This certainly makes Marseille unhappy because its position is getting further away from the top 5.

Last season, one of the factors that made Lens perform quite well was because they didn't have a busy competition schedule. their focus is only on Ligue 1, so it's natural that they can always maximize their performance. in fact, they were able to overtake Marseille last season. this season Lens has to distribute its focus on several competitions, it seems that Lens is having a very difficult time performing with the same performance as last season. apart from several players leaving, the newcomers seem to need time to adapt. this season's competition started badly, but gradually their performance improved. at least, quite safe from the red zone and is now in 8th place. as for Paris Saint-Germani, they have played 13 matches without defeat after losing to Nice.

On paper, PSG is superior in this meeting which will be held tomorrow. this is natural, because PSG has much more competitive depth than Lens. but we'll see, when Lens play their match when they host PSG at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, Lens' headquarters. at the very least, Haise is targeting a draw in this match. because to overthrow PSG currently with its quite impressive positive trend in Ligue 1, will be quite a difficult challenge for the home team. meanwhile for Luiz Enrique's squad, this victory is also important for them. at least, you have said one factor in this post..PSG will try as hard as possible to achieve every win in their domestic league so they can focus on the Champions League. moreover, in other matches, Nice lost to Rennes and Monaco also lost to Reims. full points will benefit PSG, to further widen the points gap with teams below their ranking.

A few hours remaining to start this match and now it seems Lens laterally got no luck against PSG. In the last season, these two teams were racing with each other for the French League title and Lens was even close to winning the French League but they couldn't do that in the last weeks. But this Lens is much different than what we saw from them in the last season and in the current situation of both teams, think PSG can easily beat Lens.

I don't know what changed in the second half but Monaco started to play worse against Reims. Actually it should have been the opposite because Reims closed the first half 1-0 ahead. Despite having a decent season Monaco lost their concentration very easily in this game which I didn't like to see. And of course congrats to Reims for their high effort. 

Reims are technically fighting for top four this season but we will see how this challenge will end. I believe they have a serious chance to achieve that because some big teams of the league are having a problematic time period these days.
