Apart from Neymar and Messi, PSG will also lose Marco Verratti, who is reportedly moving to the Qatar Star League. That means there has been a big drop in Luis Enrique's squad depth this season even though PSG have brought in several other players. Of course this will make it difficult for Enrique to carry out his duties at PSG because he has lost so many important players from his team.

PSG still have Vitinha, Fabián Ruiz, Carlos Soler, Danilo Pereira and several others as options, but I don't think they have the same quality as Verratti. Well in the end this is the first season for Enrique and he should be ready to do his job well.

I agree with you about their squad depth in this season, which is less depth than the past, and it will cause them more trouble when they season goes more.

Most of their top players left the club and they took a drastic measure to try keeping Mbappe thereby forcing him to sign another contract and it's paid off so far for them, he's currently their most outstanding player and other team mates would be looking up to him and also build their self confidence on and off the pitch.
 PSG really need Mbappe in their squad if they want to have a better competition this seaso, they know his capabilities and that's why they decided to do everything In their power to keep him for another season and help the club to challenge in the Champions league and if truly he wasn't need they would had allowed him go or terminate his contract after the disobey the club by negotiating with another club without their notice, they know if he leaves this summer then the club could end up having a problem so they were very technical in finding a solution to keep him.

Marseille had a shocking start this season by being eliminated in the Champions League in qualification phase already. Marcelino couldn't prevent this elimination by Panathinaikos after taking the job. Now he will need to concentrate fully on the Ligue 1 and French Cup. Marseille are normally a team that should be in the race for the Champions League places at worst. For now their placement in the standings is decent. But we are just at the beginning of the season now.

Consistency is the most important factor to maintain their presence in top 3 to qualify for the Champions League group stage directly. This would be an improvement for Marseille considering they couldn't do it last season. Maybe this season is an opportunity to fight for even the league title while PSG are dealing with issues who knows.

IMO, PSG have some great players even though they are not as big as Mbappe, we cannot rule out the other players. Luis Enrique has other players, namely, Dembele, Assensio, Goncalo Ramos and several other players. these players, will work together properly as a team. although Mbappe is the only superstar in the PSG squad, without his teammates he is nothing. that is why, every player has their own role which the coach combines with the system he implements to achieve the results they want.

Now, Enrique is trying to build a squad for his team. Unfortunately, Goncalo Ramos, Kang-in Lee, Marco Assensio, have not found the rhythm of play that the coach wants. In the first two matches they only got minor results, in the third match Mbappe was the difference and won his first match this season. no one can deny how great this player is, but football is not just a matter of one player. there are 11 people who will work together, to achieve the desired result. I'm pretty sure, gradually the other players will find their rhythm. especially, for the front and middle line players. Enrique will maximize his team and bring PSG to the best level. although currently the standings are occupied by Manoco and Marseille, it does not mean that PSG cannot reduce the difference in points between these two teams. after all, it's only a two point difference. this week, it is possible that the top position of the standings will change.

I am just getting tired of this. Every day there are some new things happening which might not even indicate anything but there are some new speculations about this player. I think it is definitely high time that he should go to Real Madrid. He should stop playing games and make up his mind about what he actually wants to do. Whenever I see these types of things, I actually get angry because the transfer speculations around this player have been going on for ages and it does not seem to be stopping any time soon as well.

It is indeed Luis Enrique's main task to make the PSG team successful again this season even though PSG only has one more star player on their front line. Slowly PSG will continue to create competition again in Ligue1 in order to be in a better place even though Marseille and Monaco have also shown their good performances at the start of this season, but these two teams still have to be wary of PSG because PSG can still make greater dominance in Ligue1 this season.

Mbappe  goes nowhere this season not even during January transfer window France league champions  will have to hold on to their finest front Man as they explore the market for his replacement ahead of the new season.

As quoted from Marca, it is true that Kylian Mbappe has just uploaded an Instagram story on his Instagram and this has given rise to further speculation regarding his possible departure this summer. It is clear that there are 3 emojis and one white heart emoji which indicates his departure but this is only a possibility because we often see oddities in Kylian Mbappe's posts so far on his Instagram account.

Is it possible that Kylian Mbappe will not stay at PSG this season and it turns out that there has been an agreement with Real Madrid to make a splash with his transfer to Real Madrid at the last minute of the transfer market? If this is true, PSG must prepare to go through this season without Kylian Mbappe, especially with other news that Kolo Muani wants to join PSG and is just waiting for Frankfurt's decision.
