Why are you putting on the helmet? Would it not be more visible on a t-shirt or something..?

There's a good point here - anything facing front or rear is much less likely to get motion blur in a picture than if it were facing sideways.

He did not tell you about the fact that he's cycling naked and because of that draws so much attention  Grin

hahaha, thats clarify me all things that i was asking to myselft Tongue

What do you have to lose? If somebody sees that QR and sends you something then so be it. Also, you will most probably get people asking you what that image is and that will give you an opportunity to spread the word on bitcoin.

exactly well done man, just because you spread the word of the bitcoin it make sense to do that, just well done, you bring me some ideas Tongue

The laminate will definitely cause a problem with a camera flash, the vinyl option I posted earlier will not as its perforated and I doubt whether it will cause any reflection at all.

thinking about Attaching a Large QR too the back of my Bag or even the back of my Belt.
The Tires of my bike may kick Dirt and water onto my back, however in the middle of the Bike frame (Tour DeFrance Style) as its less in danger of getting dirty and acting like a parachute.
Is it cheap too Laminate something?
Found this:

Quote
Car One Way Vision
A white polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film designed for application on vehicle rear windows. Apply on the outside of the window for one-way visibility. Graphics printed on perforated window films look less vibrant than those printed on solid vinyl because up to 50% of the vinyl is missing due to perforation. Thus, strong color contrast is preferred.

If the Laminate is too Glossy the Camera Flash may create a bad glare and ruin the QR code right?

Just a thought but guess it most probably will not work, what if you cut out the white areas, that will let the wind through but I guess it will then not work if scanned by a QR reader. Maybe something you can test against different backgrounds.

If it does not work what about making the white area perforated with hundreds of small holes. Almost like those screens they put over car back windows for advertising. You cannot see all the small holes from a distance and you can easily see out the window but from the outside it looks like a solid screen/sticker.

Why are you putting on the helmet? Would it not be more visible on a t-shirt or something..? You can put some funny comment on the t-shirt... saying something like :

"If you take photos of this body, you have to pay in Bitcoin"

"Photo tipping to this address ---> {insert Bitcoin address}"

Remember the QR Code are used for many other things too... the Bitcoin symbol should be bigger, if you going to draw attention to it.  Wink
Idea of tipping for a photo is good.

But printing qr code on t-shirt isn't, because due to wind, and moving bicycle,  the qr code will not be captured properly by camera.
And most importantly, the photos will be captured from side of the road and not from front.

that looks interesting but I hardly doubt you would need to do that kind of marketing for Bitcoin. lol

The speed will most likely distort the QR code and cameras will not be able to pick it up even on pictures due motion blur. You can of course get pictured while you are at a stop, then maybe there you can go viral.
A Bus or Coach going around the same speed as me travelling in same direction has good mass picture potential without the Blur Right? If i glue the QR code too hard Plastic will it still warp over time with the wind?

I'd print it even bigger!

wont fit the curve of the helmet unless i use the middle of my bike frame. I've seen people do that at the Tour De France with advertising. Bigger the QR symbol, the more Wind pushes me too the side on a windy day.

random people take you pics just because you do long runs on a bike? lol, now that's odd.

Well sometimes there cursing at me so , its not just speed that gets me noticed. I assume some of the pictures are now in the hands of Bike Cops on the look out for me.

I got the Idea from these crazy people https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8uAhd3vOYw
Was thinking of finding a local Bike Race for free Camera Time, people always upload there races too youtube.

Bike Cops? Not even going to ask Cheesy

Those guys from youtube are absolutely insane. Let's not even connect them remotely to Bitcoin, otherwise mainstream media might pick up on this Roll Eyes
