Nothing to see here but a train wrecked, move along...

This is recycled Gen1 technology (110nm), 2 BTC for 38GH (overclocked) at 280-Watt is pathetic to say the least when even low-life Avalon is selling their 23GH module for 1 BTC.

This makes Avalon Gen2 HEX16A2 24GH board looks good in comparison, for the same 2 BTC, you get 48GH total hashing power.  You do need a host computer and PSU, but that's just meant the GH / BTC cost ratio is the same at much lower power usage (100 Watts?) with the Avalon Gen2.

But as I have already mentioned, the KnC 28nm (Gen3) have already far surpassed Avalon Gen2 in price and efficiency, and it is just going to get worse with HashFast (December) and CoinTerra (January).

The much deserved end is in sight for both Avalon and ASICMiner.

P.S.  I have to laugh at "New Generation"?!?  Who are they trying to fool?  Oh yeah, newbies.
