It would have been nice if investors are really looking out for these things you mentioned that must be about a project, BUT reality must be faced, most investors are after profit alone, we have many projects that have this quality but once investors gets the opportunity to dump the project they do, not minding what will happen to such project with their actions.

First, if investors really want to proof that they are good investors  and are after the project success or what the project can offer in terms if services and quality, then they need to stop dumping this coins after they get to exchange and allow them to proof their worth, that is all we have to do.

BTC to the MOON in 2019
That also makes 2019 better, we have to believe that IOE did increase the demand because investors are now coming back believing in this new platform.
I would not be surprise if the bull runt that we are expecting will happen this year, last time there was a bull run was also because of the popularity of the ICO, now it's the IEO taking place.

IEOs are a much better solution from ICOs as there is a third party ~snip~

Well, IEO may have a better solution because it has the third party, in this case, the exchange.
However, the most important thing is also the trust of investors. To build trust, the team should know which exchange will give high trust. If they choose the low exchange, not popular, and also a new exchange, it may also decrease the trust. The better exchange will give a better solution and trust.
However, noted that exchange is only the way of crowdfunding, we must also still consider the quality of the projects seen from their ideas, concepts, products, and also how their team and developer can maintain and make the coins to be successful.

IEOs are a much better solution from ICOs as there is a third party - exchanges who are supervising the project and gives confidence for the investors that they won`t be scammed.

As long as there is fear from the situation, staying away from new projects will be continued. First try of IEO in binance created a new hope for everyone to make profit. But, IEO will also evaporate as time goes on.

Yes, IEO is a revolution of ICO and now we see a new hype. People buyng coins not because it good, but because they from IEO. The question is not: good coin or not? The question is: Did you need money?

Lock periods are essential in real projects cases as it may represent the highest security against speculation, which in tern may enhance coin holders protection. Contributors not willing to wait for lock periods to get their coins may be actually risking their own coins value.

Consider a situation when an ICO is taking place over an extended period of time, which in this case the long time only means the steady growth an ICO is targeting, if a contributor gets his/her coins today with higher bonuses as an early comer and with no restrictions on re-sale, that respective contributor can turn around and dump the coin at a preferential rate that may suddenly increase coin supply in the market, while new contributors with less bonuses as late comers may risk the dumped supply effect on their holdings.

To be fair and square, contributors may have to give weight to lock periods and consider that it may be for their benefit.

Otherwise, if a contributor is looking to speculate, then maybe he/she should consider an ICO with zero lock periods and accept the risks involved.

Perhaps, contributors need to consider the fundamentals of a project and not the mechanics of speculation possibilities. That is, if the contributor is looking for stable results and not risks compared to gambeling.

Investors are not anymore willing to invest and get their investments (tokens even if it is security) months or years later.
Getting your tokens right after purchase is an even worse idea. If it would happen like that then people would be able to trade their tokens between each other and it will influence this ICO in a negative way. Second is that it is stupid af to trade shares of a project that did not even raise money to become somehow established and start this fucking project.

It had to happen by some or other means but the question was How? Now we have the answer - IEO! ICO market was literally struggling for less credibility considering the number of scams and frauds happened during last 2 years so genuine business owners had to find a workaround!

IEOs are effectively bridging the delays that was another major pain point for almost all investors. Now with IEO, the token is available in exchange within a very short period of time. That's another major reason for a lot of people are finding it interesting!

However, I just hope that exchanges will ensure that due diligences are done before listing an IEO in their exchange so that the market credibility comes back on track!

ICO rating platform and a blockchain community
«Project fundraising has clearly evolved lately going from a mass ICO funding in 2018 to IEO's.

Investors are not anymore willing to invest and get their investments (tokens even if it is security) months or years later. Moreover, trusted platforms give a sense of „regulation“ as they are supposed to do Due Diligences. A lot of actors are currently taking advantage of this new kind of crowdfunding and are doing kickflips. I highly suggest to all investors to not to fall into the FOMO (Fear of not missing) and to invest only after extended due diligence. The hype of IEO is very risky and even if a lot of projects did an x4, x5 in a couple of days later this won't last long. Rules are evolving, groups are organized to increase there a chance of investing and a lot of things still remain very shady.

Concerning crypto-projects, this is now a race to get a place to the best IEO platform. And this is wrong! After all, they need to deliver a product, have legal aspects ready and a dedicated team and community. After the ICO White Paper era, don't fall once again in a rush and misunderstand what real investor needs. We need challenging minds and products that disrupt how the current industry works not IEO. We need real blockchain usage, not just a token that no on-chain meaning. If you have a great idea and a product ready you can think about fund raising. Finally, I see a lot of projects really still concerned about exchanges. Why? Exchanges will come when the time comes when you have a product when it is adopted and used when you have a community. Don't spend your funds in bad investments focus on products, partnerships and user acquisition.»
