Is it a clone of fractalcoin?
Yes and no. Some of the code of Fractal is used in Freshcoin (the slingshield algorithm). I think it's a great combination for the FRESH algorithm. Instead of going to POS / multipools you can keep mining the coin (with less power usage compared to other algo's).
You should get rid of the premine, no matter how small. People are going to bitch about it .
I won't get rid of the premine, since I want to be able to give FRESH coins to people who contribute and want to invest time. (a part of it is already shown in the bounties section). let me know if one got a better solution...

Any plans on limiting the hashing power of each worker / IP, like Minerals did? It ensures a fair distribution and it's a nice way to avoid massive early dumps from big farms.
Thank you for your input. I will consider it, but I don't think there is need to implement this limitation. By the time multipools discovered FRESH (and it's new algorithm) the reward is dropped quite a lot and 60% of the coins are probably already given out to the smaller miners. By that time multipools and big farms are more than welcome.
Feel free to convince me of the opposite though
