99,9% of developers dont know what are they going into. This is not just programming thing. It is corelating with other processes. I read everything and if you remember offer my help first. Dev explained that he had private problems and that he (like most of devs) relaized that this job is big cake for only him. Thats why I got into team, to help and to break the ice in cryptocurrencies.
About 99.9% devs who make something and go forever, BIIIIIG difference is that savale came back after 3 weeks and really working hard! I must say he is incredible good in his job in terms of quality! Sorry anon74 but in this speak you are not right! I would agreed with you if you say that for most of the coins but in here, just think again
Thank you Frangomel,
And yes I definitely belong to that 99,9% of the devs: I totally underestimated the amount of work I had to put into FRESH and I do think a lot of people do underestimate this also. It's probably also THE main reason that lot's of new coins fail.
What happened in my case: I started FRESH as a personal learning project. Since I love new technology this was just a great chance! But I wanted to make something special so I engineered a new low power algorithm and build a coin around it.
The first weeks were great fun but it took long nights (next to my normal job) to setup a development environment, program the FRESH algorithm, create the wallet, the gpu miner, the pool module, the website, setup stuff for miningrentals etc.
It took a lot of work / hours to make it, but it gave me so much energy because it worked out really well, and the launch was pretty smooth also.
But once launched the pressure even got a lot more higher (which I totally hadn't expected). People told me I had to do things like marketing / make plans / contact people / answer questions etc. Actually things which I don't know much about and mostly also had no time for to do it because I wanted to develop on the wallet and build new things. I made the mistake that I wanted to keep things to myself (since I am a control freak and I didn't want to share "my baby"). The results were that things didn't work out well at all for FRESH because I couldn't handle the pressure / workload. This resulted (with some private problems) that I personally was really close to a burn out.
Luckily there were still some believers and especially thanks to Frangomel I was able to get things back on track. He helped me to realize that running a coin can't be a one man project and he helped me to find my energy back. His hard work resulted in the fact that I finally was able to build the base of the FRESH online system!
I am really happy we have a team now with, it makes everything a lot more in balance and it results in great ideas too! Now the workload is spread it gives me the time to do where I am good at.
It really gives me energy that more people are supporting the coin! So thank you guys!
I also hope this inspires more people to join our team! So don't hesitate to contact us if you think you can help us. (even with little things)
