PCI-E x1-x16 received- waiting on cards to arrive to use it. looks like a solid product so far though. will update the post when i get it plugged into that gpu i'm waiting on

Will a 1x work in a 8x slot?
Yes. A 1x should work in any pci-e 1x+ slot.
So that is a no then I take it. a 1x will not work in a 8x slot.
No, that is a yes. If it is a pci-e slot a 1x will work. You can use a 1x in a 16x slot.

i am interested in 1x to 16x pcie - qty 1
1x to 16x pcie powerec -qty1
one of the 1x to 16x i bought last time broke at the pins to ribon area.
no biggie lets do business again as I am content.

The last one to Canada took the full 10 days as-quoted by Priority Mail (6-10 days). Annoying because the hand-off happened on day 2. Have had a lot of orders to Canada--you guys are going mining crazy, must be the cold air
