He certainly has a right to ask and I have a right to answer no.

Video cards are easy sellers and its as good as cash so why would I take a chance at less cash later while spending my own cash now to ship to somewhere where I didn't even want to ship and not to mention I was swallowing some of the shipping too. Yes I do expect BTC to go down but that's not the point. He didn't ask for escrow, he said deal and then 5-6 hours later asked for escrow.

I think he has a right to go escrow, no matter how small the amount.

I've sold things here before and I got a "Hero" account and if the buyer wanted to go escrow I always agreed.

I really don't understand why you don't want to just do escrow. Your money might get held up for 2 weeks but what is the big deal since its only $200?

If you are worried that Bitcoin might crash by then just open a hedge on Bitfinex.

It makes partial sense. You trust me enough to lose $100 but not $200.

Don't worry no harm done other than 5 of hours me waiting for you to reply so you make your offer. I just didn't like the order you did things, if trust was your issue you should worked that out on the first reply.

That is why I posted that reply publicly so others can see for now and future that I'm not interested in those deals regardless of who it is.

Escrow is great for multi thousand deals or overseas deals where there is truly a risk of getting scammed but who the hell posts $80 video cards for scam when they already posted proof of card and have 100+ english speaking posts.

That's no problem, all the skeptics can buy under their own terms. You can ask for those things but don't waste peoples time after they package and prepare things to tell them in the last email you want a 50/50 deal. That's why I declined your deal, if I wanted to scam you as you believe I would have just taken the 50% so your logic there doesn't work because I declined the deal.

I'm in a city of 3 million, which is why I don't have a great following here, there is very little need for me sell something in forum when I can dump it on craigslist and have it picked up sometimes a few hours later.

I offered the 50/50 deal because I have a much more trusted reputation here than you do, generally it's the one with the 0 trust sells to the one with hero rating and very high trust at a ship first get paid later or escrow only. If I knew who you were outside the forum that would be a totally different story, but I do not.

Also, I had no way of knowing you had already packaged them as in my mind we hadn't even worked out the details.

I'm just informing you of my thought process here, I was nice enough to pay 50% upfront to a person with no trust rating so that you wouldn't have to come out of pocket for shipping. I am not willing to ruin my trust over some small amount of BTC, but I'm also not willing to take the ENTIRE risk, but I felt you were honest enough to do half.

If that doesn't make sense, then I'm not sure what else to say. I was the one here doing favors, then offered again to purchase in the normal fashion of the forum, with an escrow present, and that too was declined, thus the sale as well.

You partially missed my point. I'm selling and not financing so it wouldn't matter to me if the fed acted as the escrow or the holder of the 50%. I would still say no.

If I was financing an item I wouldn't even care about your feedback. English speaking canadian or americans is enough for me because this is not where the scams come from. Not to mention I rarely ship to the US so there is no way I would wait a week or two to get paid. Appreciate it but you misunderstood my reasons, you are a bona fide buyer in my book but these cards are going for cash, not pay later, regardless of how reputable the buyer is.

I was actually logging in earlier to say the R9 is in hot demand so make up your mind quick but then I found your 50/50 message.

Grab some of my Antminers or 512mb video cards and you can have it financed interest free for as long as you want.

Alright, but on this forum, I would say most people are going to be skeptical of anyone who won't accept escrow. I wish you luck with your sale! If you change your mind I'll pick them up with an escrow.

They are available again. The latest offer wanted 50/50 which I can tell you guys ahead of time is a no.
I would do that if I was selling a book or a bronze coin but these are hot cards and sell fast so its pointless for me to pay out of pocket costs and lose the cards at the same time just to get some BTC in my wallet.

I have sold several items here but they all went overseas or to old men in northern ontario who don't even know how to leave feedback and I don't believe in harassing people for feedback. For people that have trust issues I can't help you by jumping through your hoops or using other services or financing you.

I would like to say that I've again offered to purchase these this time with an escrow, since for some reason he didn't feel like I would pay the second half after I received the cards. Which I guess is whatever, but that's what a trust rating is for isn't it?

Anyway, I've agreed to his sale price and have contacted OGnasty as escrow.

I don't know if the prices are good for you but they are definitely good for Canada. Our products are a little higher in price due to not having the government pickup the tab.

I have 2 R9 270 but one is going today to a local buyer so only one is available.  Its a mint R9 270 in box from Asus.  $100 CAD

If you wanted all 3 cards $200 CAD + shipping.  $20 flat, its probably more like $25.

BTW;;;; none of these cards have ever mined, if I ever sell mining cards I'll let people know ahead of time. These are clean cards from kids gaming machines and desktop PC's

the only issue is we are going into a holiday today.. I can either ship now within the next 5 hours or next tuesday.

Have one more HD6970 like this but no second fan or fan control. Just bare card with heatsink and fan.

There is a deal if someone wants the last HD6970 + HD4870 >>>   .17 + shipping

The buyer also has a first shot at R9's that I'm selling after this

I'll take em. What the heck right? heh. PM me to get the process started, would also be interested in the next batch if the prices are anywhere near this good. Thanks!

I am. But i'm almost not the one stuck in his box, throwing a tantrum on forums. I gave you your answer regarding the GPUs and windows. Are you done?

you did not give an answer. you think you answered a question but its something I wasn't asking and already knew the answer to. I had a question for adaseb regarding mining eth, not if a card works on windows. had you read in chronological order you would notice that. you don't have this card so why are you even commenting on something you know nothing about.

I have sold over 1000 cards in the last 20 years from 16mhz days to today so I would not turn to a bitcoin forum to ask the forum troll if the most popular card works under the most popular OS.

Ok.

I don't know if it will work with an old processor like the Pentium 4 but I know that it will work mining ETH currently. These cards are very old these days that most gamers don't buy them anymore however its a huge plus that it can mine ETH currently.

you didn't follow the thread in order,, yes i asked if it works on P4/win7 but that was in response to adasebs comments saying these mine ETH @ 10mhs.. so I asked him if he's know that will happen under p4/Win7

and to say hardware / software has nothing do with mining ethereum is like saying bitcoin has nothing to do with networking.

as usual you are clueless and out touch. is this a new negotiation tactic for you ?

You missed the thread - we are talking about mining ethereum not running windows

You asked if "this worked" on a P4 on windows 7 or needed 2gb or 4gb ram or windows 10. You're talking about making it work on that hardware/software.

Since these things have arguably nothing to do with mining Ethereum, your question is very ambiguous. If you're asking if a 2GB GPU can mine Ethereum, then the answer is yes. But you're bringing up other unrelated stuff.

For example which windows you use change how many GPU Windows will support. Nothing relating specifically to Ethereum.

TLDR: Any of those is not any different for Eth than other algos.
