Right now, the volume of traders selling FTC to buying is 2:1

Traders are straight up retarded if they are still holding FTC, tomorrow that ratio will be 2:0.

Not true - I'll be buying FTC, at 1 million FTC for 1 BTC rate!

Well who knows what'll happen, look at TRC and all they've been through with the crazy ASIC jumps. They went from around 6k difficulty to 160k difficulty at which point a majority of people jumped the ship, and they're still around today and their price even doubled from what it was before after everything was fixed and settled. Thing is no matter who says what for which side, it'll follow its own course. FTC difficulty is merely jumping x2 compared to almost x30, not to mention FTC seems to have a larger long-term support base than TRC had at the time of their troubles.

Maybe he's trying to play the market at an exchange? I know I did to make a couple hundred FTC on cryptonit

There is no market, if you look at LTC/BTC sell/buy ratio:

http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/orderbook.php?pair=ltc-btc&market=btc-e

It's pretty much 1:1

Are you so clueless, tomorow the rate will go up because people making less FTC will NOT be willing to trade them with as little LTC as today.

This will continue until price saturates.

At 88 difficulty, .047 exchange, and 520 kh/s I make 1.13 LTC per day, a fraction less than mining LTC directly. But if the exchange raises to just .055, I make more LTC by mining FTC.

Yes it could cause the price to drop, or to increase. We'll find out tomorrow.

Keep truckin' along. Big time miners can go back to LTC and forget about FTC. We need a difficulty roller coaster to shake them.

The smartest miners don't sell all their coins immediately just to make a fast buck.

Very true. Especially with coins like this, big holders wouldn't try to crash the market, since there isn't enough of a market yet since it's still young. They would sell a little at a time if they needed to get rid of some. Besides, holding them helps the price since there's less supply

if the difficulty increases, hopefully a lot of people will stop mining so i can put my GPU to good use :p

Nice to know there are newcomers still wanting to jump into FTC after going through turbulence Smiley

Yup my rigs will be moving if the profitability drops below LTC.  I've been dumping them all as I go, who's buying this stuff??

Smart people are buying them...

Profits are relative to amount invested.  My rigs are long paid for my only FTC expense has been power consumption. Let me know when you get a 780% return on your FTC investment.  Then we can discuss who the smart people are.

24,000khs = $25 per day electricity

24,000khs = 2500 FTC per day (at 40 diff) - last 24 hours

2500 FTC = $500 ROI = 780%

Then there is the few days before that:

24,000khs = $25 per day electricity

24,000khs = 6000 FTC per day (at 15 diff) -- I'll let you do the rest of the math..

If I total my sales, avg was 47LTC per 1K FTC.

If a buyer wanted a %780 on 47LTC/1K FTC then they have to sell at 370 LTC -- good luck.

Why would I want a return? I have a job. I believe in FTC in the long term.

So much B***hurt over FTC success...

Get over it people, you have been Tared and Feathered!   Grin

I'm glad it went well, I made money.  Just wondering why anyone is still buying this.  Tomorrow it's gone.

Sometimes you need to make less money in the short term to make more money in the long term. I believe there is a term for it, called "investment".

Higher difficulty just means price will eise fast, faster than anyone anticipates.
