It's an April fool...  It just happened that the events "look" similar to that post.  In reality, the panic sell was not related.  And Gox was not under DDoS when it fell.  It is now today only because some people are trying to regain their money are try to drive the price down.

if im not wrong today mtgox said that they are under ddos attack (facebook)

They put up a link on Reddit here:

Yeah most companies would lie and say that if they were making huge profits, failed to invest in infrastructure, and then were collapsing under their own success.  A DDOS is an attack involving sending a lot of traffic.  It behaves the same way as a website not under attack that is getting a lot of traffic due to success.  Last night on Facebook they said there is no DDOS we are a victim of our own success.  Sounds like they are trying to BS us to me.

------------------------
   OPERATION APRIL FOOLSCOIN
------------------------

Targets: MtGox, BTCE, Bitcoin24, Bitstamp

Mission statement:

The recent sell-off was only partially successful for several reasons:

- Fresh blood looking to buy
- Overly bullish market
- Only one exchange targeted

April 1st occurs at the end of a bank holiday, fiat will be running low on the exchanges and it is the perfect time for a secondary strike. A triple bluff will be used to trick the market into collapse.

- Stage 1: Slowly buy BTC, use accounts to spread bullish propaganda on all major channels; bitcointalk, reddit, twitter, etc.
- Stage 2:  Dump 10k on Gox, and 1K on all other exchanges.
- Stage 3: Put buy orders in below the final sale price to profit from the panic sellers.
- Stage 4: When price rebounds to within 5% of the original price dump all remaining coins.
- Stage 5: DDoS all exchanges and spread negative propaganda on forums.
- Stage 6: Send the pre-made press releases to selected news outlets.

We got it this time.

Meet on IRC at the designated time and be prepared for a late night.

+1000. Seriously, the Prsoner's Dilemma explains why this conspiracy theory is extremely unlikely.

Someone who got burned at $200+ created a rather nice story after the fact.

Hard to believe, but this would make for quite a viral story if true and properly documented.
- paste date says march 29, is this to be trusted?
- who initially propagated that pastebin?
- does this match mtgox trade volume (10K dump)?
- what irc channel was used and is there a record of it?

Almost all of these pastebin messages are fake. This one screams bullshit.

I miss how they profit.
Is that just to buy low?
or are they just hateful?

with my little brain i can say:
- buy low
- envy for not having created bitcoin
- paid by someone
