Why does everyone think the slightest bad news means "the end for bitcoin!"  Just because some people get arrested and there are bad media reports doesn't signal the end.  Just "growing pains" as some have put it.  People need to stop with the mentality that is "to the moon" or "its over."  BTC is gaining, even though the value in terms of USD may have taken a hit recently

This is how FUD-sters work, and also newbs who are just mad/jelly that they don't have any coins.

The thing is I felt sorry for him when he said he lost savings. I realize that this was a mistake. He is clearly a bad person.

It's by no means the end for bitcoin, but we're definitely due for a significant crash.

Angrynerd posted this to a suicidal person

"if you kill yourself, tell that to the media, so they will talk about bitcoin in a negative way, price will go down and i will be able to buy something. Thanks. I will pray for you after your departure in the case. Bye bye or...adieu"

This leads me to believe he is full of shit and just wants to spread FUD so the price goes down.

Yes.  He is totally full of shit.  Two days ago he was begging because he claimed to have lost half his savings in Bitcoin.  Just yesterday he predicted Bitcoin at $1000 by end of year.

Suddenly today Bitcoin is dead.

Sorry, OP.  You must have a high opinion of yourself if you believe your FUD posts are having any real effect on the price.  Just be patient and HODL.

Yes 100% confirmed. Send me all your useless bitcoins. (they will be zero anyway), and you cannot even sell them on an exchange. My address in signature.

I'll happily accept the worthless bitcoins too.

it was all fun, but bitcoin's adventure has come to an end. Do not hyde this to yourselves, you all know this. All major exchangers are "suspending" withdrawls, nations are banning it (russia, china...some others will follow), price is going down...this is not another crysis.
This is the beginning of the end. Wait some months and your beloved bitcoins will be back to 15 dollars. In the future they will look back and laugh at bitcoin's bubble of 2013-2014. I can figure that.

is this like the first end of bitcoin or like the second end in later 2013?

or is the third "true" end of ends...of bitcoin?

And despite all this, the price remains relatively stable.

Countries banning it, illicit market places going down, news articles slating it, exchanges failing, yet my Bitcoin is still worth around 10x what I bought them for.

I just wonder what things would look like if it was successful.

i had bitcoins since 2012, i am not exactely a newbie. I have seen all the dumps before, and i know this is not the same thing. Something bigger than us is going on, and we cannot do anything.

Why is this something to worry about, or is it just a hunch? It's just FUD unless you provide any reasoning.

Only newbs get scared off by a little bit of bad news and a crash. Seen it all before. Bitcoin always bounces back though, but it's probaby not the get rich quick scheme you thought it was.
