Hire Bitcointalk Camp. Manager @ r7promotions.com
I think if you apply for a slot in the Bitcoin talk forum there are full members or member rank But it depends entirely on the manager who will take over and who not. This is because they usually choose the high-ranking bun for the slot So be more active in the forum and post better quality.

I just saw an open member slot on this bounty paid in BTC : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bustadice-signature-campaignending-may-16th-2519710. As I am a member rank, I tried to apply there. But I was surprised that not only Full Member and Senior Member, Hero and Legendary members also applied for that Member slot. Guys, do you think something like this normal?

I saw that too. It's weird. I think those members if accepted should have "sold my signature for cheap" as their avatar text Cheesy

But it's business as any other. If the manager thinks they're getting a good deal they'll take it, why not. Not all high-rank members who apply for a pay cut like that are great posters so I think a good Member poster still has a chance there.

In fact, I think it is quite the opposite, bustadice is one of the campaigns with the highest payment per rank, if you make a comparison with the list of Mitchell you will realize that even if you are accepted for the rank of member you receive the same payment as being a Sr.member in other campaigns.

Its depend on rank, only Hero and Legendary ranks signature code is same. So for other rank you can't wear signature if it's for higher ranks from your current rank.
Perfectly true. Lower ranks cannot wear the signature codes for higher rank, except Hero and Legend. It will be a problem if lower ranks are accepted for that spot.

when I had joined Bitsler, there was only open Legendary spot. So unfortunately my ranks were Hero. But after sometimes manager announced if there is no quality Legendary member then he might pick Hero member as well (obviously pay rate different). So I applied there  and get accepted.
However, this seems to rarely happen. Nowadays, we have many active Hero and Legendary ranks who have already joined signature campaigns regularly.
Anyway, that was a good decision by the BM, you were lucky to be accepted there, sir. And if you have the same case later, your experience may be one of the considerations. Smiley

I see you got accepted, i hope you are happy now  Cheesy
Good luck

It's normal. At the end of day, it's just competition my friend. Bustadice is a long term signature campaign that pays fairly well so even higher ranked members would try to apply at any given opportunity.

I see you got accepted, i hope you are happy now  Cheesy
Good luck

Thanks for responding and explaining the details of my question, and now it seems not only that I will understand it because there are more members with lower ranks who will also understand the rules that apply to signature campaigns when reading your explanations.
The point is:

Higher rank users can apply for lower rank slots if managers open for such applications but lower rank users can not apply for higher rank slots,~~

Companies run their promotions (one of theirs) in the forum through signature campaign that might give them some benefits. To do this and to get as much benefits as possible, they have to hire good managers to increase benefits per capital they readily spend for campaign.

In turn of managers, they have all rights to do anything in their campaigns, with campaigns' local rules in order to maximize benefits for companies hire them as long as their local rules don't break unofficial forum rules.

Usually, each campaign have fixed slots for some ranks but it is not abnormal to see some higher rank users apply for lower ranks in some campaigns. Once again, managers have rights to decide which things to do for companies, and to accept or reject applications.

To sum up, higher rank users can apply for lower rank slots if managers open for such applications but lower rank users can not apply for higher rank slots, probably except when they are very closely to the day of ranking up (but I have never seen such reserved slots for potential next ranks like that, I just imagine about that situation).

But will the manager also consider accepting lower ranking members who are good postmakers if there is a higher ranking slot that is empty?
Its depend on rank, only Hero and Legendary ranks signature code is same. So for other rank you can't wear signature if it's for higher ranks from your current rank. But sometimes managers could adjust spot accordingly. For example when I had joined Bitsler, there was only open Legendary spot. So unfortunately my ranks were Hero. But after sometimes manager announced if there is no quality Legendary member then he might pick Hero member as well (obviously pay rate different). So I applied there  and get accepted. But you can't expect Legendary rate for that.

On the other hand, before few days there was 2 full member open spot on my campaign. But unfortunately I didn't find good participants. So what I did,I closed full member spot and open 1 Sr. Member spot instead. And I accept a Hero member as a Sr. Member pay rate since there were no enough quality posters from Sr. Member. And I inform the company and they allow me to do it.

You can't expect high pay rate ranks from your current rate. But you may apply for low rank payments. Applying for higher ranks from your current ranks isn't appropriate unless manager announce new spot.

I don't see anything wrong on that, in fact I myself applied for full member slot even though I am already a senior member and there are hero and legendary that also applies for lower rank, it's the manager's discretion if they will accept you or not, bounty manager looks for good posters regardless of the rank.

It seems like the OP has understood enough about that question.
Yes. Now, it is clear enough. I have read all replies and try to understand.

But will the manager also consider accepting lower ranking members who are good postmakers if there is a higher ranking slot that is empty?
It doesn't make sense, buddy. Lower ranks cannot fulfill the requirement of the ranks that are needed. For example, a campaign needs 5x Full members, 5x Sr members, and 5x Hero/Legend members. The bounty manager mustn't consider member ranks or Junior members since it is clearly seen full members above. And I believe that will be no member or junior ranks to apply there.

So don't worry about who are applying there. Managers will not give them priority just for their rank if they are spammer.
Good advice. It seems like the OP has understood enough about that question.

I know you are a manager, and every campaign manager has the capacity to judge who is suitable to fill the empty slots in the campaign he manages and even accept Legendaries to fill slot members, and that is normal.

But will the manager also consider accepting lower ranking members who are good postmakers if there is a higher ranking slot that is empty?

Since it's a high payment campaign that's why even higher rank users applying there and it's not against forum rules or campaign rules.
True. Money is like sugar, normal people must be interested. As long as they have the possibility to join, they won't miss a chance to apply.

I also face same issue on my campaign, but I pick quality poster even this is appropriate or higher rank. I won't accept Legendary as a member pay rate if the poster isn't a good poster.
A wise decision. I like how you decide the solution, and I am pretty sure that yahoo62278 also does the same thing.

So don't worry about who are applying there. Managers will not give them priority just for their rank if they are spammer.
Okay, manager. Now, I understand what will be the priority.

I'm so glad to see your comment on my thread. Thank you so much.  Smiley

From what I've observed on the forum, campaign managers try their best to fill open slots with those on the appropriate ranks, and I think they give more considerations to those applying for a slot on the appropriate rank needed.

But many times they may be left with no choice when those applying with the correct ranks are not good posters and are not qualified to fill the position, so they don't start spamming when the get into the campaign, the only wise thing they can do is to fill the positions with higher ranked members, not with lower ranked members, for example a full member cannot fill a senior member spot.

So do not complain, if you do not want a higher ranked member to fill slots for your rank on a campaign, improve on your post quality.

Op is referring one of yahoo62278 campaign, I have seen higher rank users apply there. But they are not preventing you from apply there. I have seen previously yahoo62278 pick appropriate rank if there is quality poster in required rank. So if you are a high quality poster you should not worry. Since it's a high payment campaign that's why even higher rank users applying there and it's not against forum rules or campaign rules.

I also face same issue on my campaign, but I pick quality poster even this is appropriate or higher rank. I won't accept Legendary as a member pay rate if the poster isn't a good poster.

So don't worry about who are applying there. Managers will not give them priority just for their rank if they are spammer.

For me, it doesn't really make sense. The ideal condition must be: a member slot is for member ranks. Member ranks above (Full-Legendary) must realize that the slot is not for them.  Cool
Its a normal thing bro ,it depends on the manager who will be the deserving member to complete the participants. Sometimes you should be fast so that you will be reviewed by the manager.

If a person is ready to work for lower payment, then why not apply for a "job" ?

You can try doing opposite - if your know that there are no free slots of your rank, there are free spots of higher rank and no one applies for them - try asking BM to take their place, but receive payment as a member Smiley

If I'm a CM, I'd sure as hell hire a Legendary that requests for a Member slot over a Member asking for the same thing any day.

Who doesn't like cheaper labor? Cheesy

Yes, that is normal and every campaign managers have their own decisions and perspective way in selecting participants.
If there is no potential member rank applicant's who applied, managers choose those higher rank than choosing member rank to fill the slot but inactive and probably have spam post.

Let the managers be a manager and I think there is no problem with that as long as the manager's choosing the right one and it is deserving of the slot. (active, reputable, good and regular poster members are deserving to accept).

Probably if you are one of the managers here, you will understand.

My point is, you could have just asked why higher rank members are applying in bustadice thread since it is the campaign in question like what other members did (see the example in my first comment).
Not really sure that's why I asked the question to others. I think there is no problem with asking a question to others, right?
For me, to make sure the answer is better than guessing. Thanks for your attention, bro. Have a nice day!
