I can lend you 10 bitcoins if you return 11.5.

Any possibility on agreeing on a lower interest ? 10% ?

I don't mean to threadcrap, but that seems really, really pricy for that card. I know it's in BTC, but unless you can pick it up local NCIX has the same card for $190, plus you get a $30 MIR. At current rates that's $210 for the card at WTCR.

Good eye ! But do they accept bitcoin ?!? Thanks for your concerns but I have been in contact with the wtcr.ca seller who has offered a deal close enough to what I can find the card priced at my local computer store. He stated the manufacturers rebate may still be valid if I bought it from wtcr.ca. I will check with Gigabyte tomorrow to make sure however I would still be interested in the card at this point without the mail-in rebate.

As stated, Im looking for a 40 BTC loan to purchase a video card.
I would be able to pay it back in 30 days, or I could point ~1150 Mhash at the pool of your choice until paid..
Edit:  More specifically, this unit;  http://www.wtcr.ca/catalog/product/vid-g6870-01 upon arrival will be added to the 1150 Mhash for a total of ~1450 for loan payback.
I also have another rig ~410 Mhash running now waiting on cables for 2 smaller cards bringing it up another 200 Mhash or so pending power consumption.

1 BTC sent , transaction id = 79983b73da16629baf2304597f0c69e3679a8a2a935309535ee9125b43243e26 to 1Psm4dgeeneTYEZgxob2n7DxpNEvrKR9zL
payback 10/3/12

I have no problem paying some interest. Its the 35% I don't understand. I am willing to point 100% of one rig to any pool for fastest returns.
I requested 35% as a minimum, in case if someone else wanted to used your mining power for payback. Cheesy

Ah, now I see. I use cgminer for mining, not sure if I could split hash from the bigger 1150 rig. I could however use the smaller rig @ 410+ Mhash if that comes close. It is set to grow up to around 600 Mhash very soon.

Do you want the partial loan now, or until the rest is funded?

I'll make the following deal to you:

Loan amount: 10 BTC
Repayment amount: 10.5 BTC, paid via mining shares.

You will point 35% (of 1150 MH/s) of your hashing power to a pool of my choice, until you mined ((difficulty)/50)*10.5 shares.

The reason for 35% is because I want a faster repayment schedule, and you'll be adding more hash power later, and added hashing power does not count toward the 35%.

So you're essentially selling a mining contract, with the added bonus that you'll get 100% of your money back? Sounds good, except you don't have much reputation here. Undecided

"you're essentially selling a mining contract,"

- not exactly, nor intentionally, but you could look at it that way.

"you don't have much reputation here"

- Unfortunately, no. But I will add some pics to help show that I AM committed to bitcoin.  I could also offer about 4 BTC worth of other cryptocurrency for collateral if needed.

He's done a few solid transactions if you check his post history. I'd lend, but as usual, have no coins.

1150 MH/sec is less than 1 BTC per day - so how are you going to pay the loan back in less than 40 days?

Hey Burt,

I have more then 1 mining rig
